"You don't demand change, you inspire it." – Lying To Be Perfect
Over the years when arguing with my parents and discussing with them with what I want, it doesn't end well at all. I would say that I demanded change because the way I was speaking to them, sounded like that and I didn't get the change that I needed, wanted and overall deserved.
But if I choose to talk to them in an inspiring voice and tone, I'll get the results/change that I need, want and overall deserve. Therefore, you inspire change, not demand it.
"I get things are bad. But what are we doing to fix it?" – Tomorrowland
So many times that I've argued with my parents about many things over the years, I've noticed it fixed nothing for me. I've come to realize that arguing does nothing good. It fixes nothing, it only makes things worse. But if we look at it in a perspective where we are more than able to identify the problem but come up with a way to fix it, things would get better.
So therefore, when things get bad, do something. Act on it and do something to fix it. Don't argue, it does nothing but make it worse.
