Tom had slowly began to drink his cup of coffee in his bedroom, while sliding his hands over some papers he had gotten the last time he visited the police station.

It was the exact same murder that made Elena's skin crawl.

He had been over it all afternoon- and nothing, and he meant nothing, had raised any suspicion. None of the names had looked familiar. The location was quite far from his own home- so it couldn't be pinned on him.

For the first time, he mostly sure that he wasn't being tracked down by some kind of gang or assassin.

He was relieved.

Sighing, he gathering the papers and placed them on the desk beside him and stood up- still sipping at his cup of coffee.

Standing right up to the widow, he immediately frowned.

Opposite, was Elena's bedroom.

Her sheets weren't neat, they were the same as this morning. And this time, this aroused suspicion. Elena would normally be back around this time and her curtains are normally closed.

This was normal at all.

It was out of place.

Tom gulped down his coffee and threw on his jacket, rushing out of his house and walked up to Elena's door.

He lightly knocked and waited for a moment.

"Elena!" He shouted. "It's Tom, are you in?"

Taking a deep breath, Tom took out a piece of card and slid it into the gap. With some fiddling, the door opened and he quickly closed it behind him. "Elena, babe!" He yelled again, but nothing or even no-one answered.

He made his way around the downstairs of Elena's house, but nothing.

Even upstairs, nothing.

Her phone was left on her table, so there was no way he could contact her.

With a light frown, he rushed downstairs and grabbed her car keys from her draw, making her way into Elena's car and starting the engine.

And with that, Tom drove to the station.

His heart beating fast and he wondered why Elena wasn't home. Maybe she was working later today- but without her phone... He wasn't so sure.

Once Tom had arrived, he went inside and the lift pinged as soon as he entered the building.

After that, he arrived at the right floor and saw that Sam and Elena's things were gone.

"Excuse me?" Tom tapped the man.

"Yeah?"

"I'm looking for Detective Collins and Officer Rays." He stated and the Officer in front of him clicked.

"Ah, you're that guy. T-Tom wasn't it?" Tom nodded and smiled slightly.

"Yeah.."

"Well, I haven't seen them all day. Sorry." The man walked away and Tom followed.

"What?"

"Sam left to pick up Elena, but haven't really come back. I think they went on an outside case." Tom sighed.

"Is possible I could have access to some cameras and information about a previous case?" Tom asked.

"We will need permission from your boss." Clearing his throat, Tom took out a thin piece of card and handed it to the man.

"Here." The man dialled the number- a man, Officer Birch- Mr Geek Computer Guy.

A few moment later, Tom was accepted to access the information and camera.

And once more, he rang Andrew for more information.

Elena's and Sam and stepped out at the road near his house, and approached some men who had knocked them unconscious.

After some careful analysis and watching cameras, Tom had finally found the exact location. Well, a pinpoint of where they could be.

With his head held high, and his shoulders broad- he had clutched the handle of his gun tightly, before attempting to rescue the one he loved and a friend.
