8 years later
"We're home!" Tom yelled as he pushed the door closed. One hand was holding his younger daughter, and the other a few shopping bags.
Elena rushed down the stairs and a smile grew on her face.
"Aw, Penny, Chloe. My little girls!" She yelled and kneeled down to her oldest daughter. "How was the theme park sweetie?" Elena asked, Chloe jumping on the spot.
"Daddy won me this Mommy!" Chloe squealed, pulling the unicorn toy out of the bag and waving it in front of Elena.
"That's amazing!" Elena glanced at Tom smirking and placed her hands onto her hips. "Now, give me your coat and go and eat- food is on the table Clo." She ruffled her daughter's hair and took her coat off, as Chloe ran into the dining room.
"And here's your other baby..." Tom said handing her Penny as she cooed.
"How was she?" Elena asked.
"Purring like a kitten the whole way." Combing his hair back with his fingers, Tom yawned.
"Aw..." Elena simpered and lay Penny on the sofa, while Tom removed his coat and hung it up. "And how's my other, other baby...?" Wrapping her arm around Tom's neck, Elena moved closer towards Tom.
"He's... very tired." Tom lightly chuckled.
"How about I give you and the girls dinner and then we can have a night we'll never forget..." Elena whispered and Tom leaned forward.
"Oh... I'll like that..." Elena giggled and pressed her lips onto Tom's for a moment.
"Can you believe this?" She asked, sighing.
"What?" Tom frowned.
"This. Us." Licking his lips, Tom shook his head.
"No, I don't..." He took a deep breath. "It's been eight years since, everything... I can't believe you even said yes!"
"Well, I loved you, and I still do." Elena said, smiling.
"I love you too..." Tom said back and lightly rubbed Elena's back.
"Thank you, for saving me all those years ago..." Elena commented and Tom nodded lightly.
"Thank you for meeting me first, Elena Collins." Both smiled at each other and held hands tightly.
"I better give Penny her milk, before decides to make me pay tonight." Elena chuckled and Tom watches Elena walk towards their daughter.
And, he told the truth.
He couldn't really believe it.
A spy, to a father.
It was a huge step and a big change.
Tom took a step towards the table and immediately let out a frown. "I forgot to tell you, Sam is coming tomorrow!" He didn't answer. "Hello! Did you hear..." Elena's voice trailed off and she placed her hand onto Tom's arm. "What..."
Tom inhaled sharply and held up a letter.
"Cancel our plans Elena. We have a new case."
