Chapter 2

The day came for Callie's adoption every one was there for her, the Fosters, Jude, Conner, and even the girls from Girls United. Callie was so happy to finally be settling down with a good family but the only problem was Brandon. She was still trying to make sense of what is going on between them. As she entered the court room the judge began to speak," Callie, I see no reason not to let this family adopt you. On the other hand I must confirm that there is nothing in anyway romantic going on between you and Brandon Foster." Callie felt the eyes of every one who she loved staring at her waiting to give him an answer. As Callie looked at Brandon and then at the judge she took a deep breath and said," No there is nothing romantic going on between me and Brandon Foster in anyway." Callie could not believe her own words. The judge stated clearly," It is well Callie Jacob is now an official member of the Adams-Foster family. Congratulations Callie." Callie was overwhelmed with excitement and joy. Stef and Lena both stood up and both of them hugged Callie with love and joy. For the next five minutes everyone hugged and congratulated Callie. As Jude hugged Callie she noticed Brandon leaving the court room. Once everyone was distracted with their own stuff Callie ran after Brandon. " Brandon stop", Callie yelled . Callie reached out and grabbed Brandon's arm. Brandon stopped and said," What Callie I thought there was nothing at all going on romantically between us so I took a hint." Callie at first was confused but then remembered what she told the judge in the court room and she instantly felt guilty. " You mean back in the court room? Brandon I only said that because if I told them the truth then the judge would not allow your moms to adopt me." Brandon had a moment of realization,' Callie would never hurt my feelings without telling it to me first', Brandon thought . He looked at Callie in complete and utterly love," Your right I should have known you just said that so you could get adopted." Callie went over and gave Brandon a very strong hug and whispered in his ear," Brandon, I love you." Brandon having Callie in his arms whispered back," I love you too Callie." Then Callie turned her head to look at Brandon and Brandon leaned in and slowly closed his eyes and Callie did the same. As she closed her eyes she felt Brandon's wet moist lips kiss her lips. In that split second there wasn't a worry in the world for Callie. She immediately pulled away when she heard their family walking out of the court house. Brandon quickly opened his eyes and said," what is it? Why did you pull away?" But then he looked up and saw their family as well and immediately stepped back from Callie and pretended that nothing happened between the two of them just then. "Hey B what's going on here", Stef asked. Callie and Brandon both looked at each other," Nothing", they said in unison. Lena stepped beside her wife and said," Okay good. Now who is riding with who?" "Well I can drive Callie", Brandon offered. Stef looked at Brandon and then at Callie and said," Okay B you can drive you and Callie straight home but no where else okay." As Brandon got in the drivers seat and Callie got in the passengers seat they watched as the others piled in Lena's
car and drove off. Brandon why aren't we moving yet? They are expecting us home soon", Callie said to Brandon. Brandon looked at Callie and said," The only reason why I offered to drive you was to have some alone time with you without our big family around." Callie instantly smiled and let out a little laugh," Why do we need to be alone to talk we can do that at home." Brandon looked at her and then thought to himself for a minute and said," Because we can't really do this at home." Callie was confused for a second and then she felt Brandon pull her chin up and leaned in towards her as she closed her eyes she felt Brandon kiss her fragile lips. After she felt him kiss her gently she kissed him back but with more passion and love. As Brandon passionly kissed her again this time she felt his soft tongue and after what had seemed like a only a few short moments she pulled away and said to him," Maybe we should head back so moms don't get suspicious." Brandon looked away and then at the road," Yeah you are probably right," he stated as he started the car. When they arrived at the house Stef stormed out. " What took you two so long! When we drove off we noticed that you guys were not behind us. What were you two doing", Stef yelled. Brandon and Callie both stepped out of the car and Brandon said," We were just talking about how exiting it is to finally have Callie as a sister." Stef looked at Callie and asked," Callie, is this true?" " Yeah I just wanted to tell someone how happy I am", Callie lied. Stef believed the lie and said," Okay, well let's go inside Mama is making dinner." As Brandon and Callie followed Stef inside Brandon grabbed Callie's hand secretly and they walked into the house together. That night Callie changed into her sweatpants and white shirt. Then she headed into her and Mariana's room and laid down. Then Mariana entered the room and said to Callie," Callie you awake?" Callie opened her eyes and turned over," yeah, what's up?" Mariana sat on her bed and laid down and said," Nothing just wondering." " Okay well let's go to sleep. Good night", Callie said with tiredness. Mariana closed her eyes and said," Good night Callie." A few hours later Callie and Mariana were sound asleep in their beds and then Callie heard a familiar voice, it was Brandon. Callie woke up and turned over," Brandon what are you doing in here Mariana could wake up at any second." Brandon looked at Callie and said," I know but I need to tell you something."
