~Going Out Clubbing        

            When Katlyn finished doing my hair and makeup I went to the bathroom to look in the mirror. I turned on the light and my eyes widened at the sight. I’m not going to say that I looked like someone else or that it didn’t look like me because that’s so cliché. But I’d never actually done my makeup and hair like this before. Actually, I’d never actually used makeup at all; it wasn’t that much of a priority back in Louisville. All I could truly say was wow.

            Katlyn had straightened my hair –something I also never bothered to do- to perfection. My makeup was light and looked natural. She gave me light eye shadow that brought out the green in my eyes.

            “Jade, hurry up!” Katlyn yelled. I look in the mirror one more time before coming out of the bathroom. I saw Katlyn put her phone and keys in her purse. She then shoved my cell towards, me and pushed me out of the door.

            “In a hurry?” I asked as she locked the door.

            “It’s Raze…the hottest new club, and I need to get out and do something fun tonight,” she said. I smiled as we walked out of the building; this is bound to be an interesting night.

            “So how are we getting there?” I asked.

“I, unlike you, have a car,” she told me.

“So judgmental,” I said.

“I know, you’ll learn to love it,” she replied, smiling.          

“Oh…My…God,” I said when I saw her car. I it was a yellow Lamborghini.

“Yep, this is my baby,” she said. I got in the passenger seat, nonetheless, it wasn’t bad, just surprising.

The drive took just about 8 minutes. The club looked huge from the outside and had enormous letters on top that said “Raze.”  We got to the front and the big hulky kind of guy let us in. It was a little hot when we got in, but as we passed through the door a breeze came over me. Before I could move another step Alondra came running up to us.

“You made it!” she said and I smiled.

“How’d you get us in though?” I asked.

“That is a question for another day,” she said.

“Ok well this is Katlyn, my roommate,” I said gesturing towards her.

“Alondra,” Katlyn said a little mean.

“Katlyn,” Alondra said. My mind was swirling, and I was getting a little confused.

“Do you two know each other?” I asked.

“Let’s just say were acquaintances by association,” Kate commented. Then as soon as she said that Harry came over to us.

“Kate?” Harry asked surprised. Kate went up to him and hugged him, smiling.

“How are you?” she asked with a worried expression on her face.

“Can you give us a sec?” Harry asked Alondra. Her eyes widened, but she quickly recovered, walking to the bar and taking me with her.

“You look hot!” she said over the loud music. The song changed to “Wild,” by Jessie J, as the bartender came over to us.

“What would you like to drink?” he asked. He had dark hair and dark brown eyes.
