Guilt was eating me alive and I hated it. I didn’t want to lie to my boyfriend, betray his trust but lately he’s been pushing me away. I thought I loved him, I really thought I did. But that was before…before I realized how much happier I felt with- Then I saw him. Exactly where we’d said we’d meet. His blue eyes lit up and my heart started beating rapidly.

“You’re here,” I whispered, wrapping my arms around him.

“I wouldn’t miss it for the world,” he told me. Then he leaned in and kissed me. His lips were soft under mine and the kiss was gentle. I realized that this was the moment to tell him. His arms wrapped around my waist and pressed me closer to him. I smiled leaning into him and then pulling away.

“Wait, to have to tell you something,” I said.

“And I have something to tell you too,” “But let me go first,” he added.

“Okay,” I replied.  

“We’ve been seeing each other secretly for a month now, and I …the thing is…I want you to break up with him to be with me,” he said putting an emphasis on him.

“Okay, I’ll do it,” I said.

“Really?” he asked surprised.

“Of course because…I love you,” I told him. He smiled and then said “I love you too,” before kissing me once again.

*Jade’s P.O.V.

When we got to my dorm Katlyn wasn’t there and I didn’t have a key. Harry offered to take me somewhere, but I wasn’t from California and didn’t have anywhere to go. When I told him this he grabbed me by the hand and took me to his car.

“Where are we going?” I asked him.

“Out to lunch until Katlyn gets back,” he replied.

“Where?” I asked.

“It’s a surprise,” he said. I rolled my eyes, but stayed silent as we traveled the road. I saw him grin and a smiled started forming on my lips. After 5 minutes, the silence got a little overwhelming.

“Do you have any good music?” I asked him.

“Depends on what you mean by good music,” Harry replied.

“Okay what do you have?” I asked. He took out a CD pack and handed it to me.

“Here,” he said. I looked over it and finally chose a CD. The CD was a mix to Harry from Alondra. The first song was upbeat and when I heard the lyrics my eyes got wide.

“Boy I will be you sexy silk. Wrap me around ‘round, ‘round, ‘round. I’ll be your pussycat licking your milk right now, down, down, down.”

Harry just looked at me and smirked before saying “You chose the CD.” I laughed and before I knew it we had arrived. The place was called “Cher’s” or so said the sign on top of the building. It was like a small cottage type house, all warm and cozy. Once inside we sat down at a table near the corner.

“So…come here often?” I asked trying to break the silence. Harry’s eyes filled with laughter and he doubled over. The waitress came over when he was calming himself down.
