~Never Let Me Go

*Harry's P.O.V.

            I had gotten up today with the biggest smile on my face. We had taken  a week off school for spring break and now we were going back. This made me happy because finally I had a reason to see Jade. She hadn't been on campus the whole week and she wouldn't answer my calls. Every time I stopped by,  I saw that no one was at the dorm and it was driving me nuts.

            I hurried to get dressed as I made my way to psychology. Once inside I sat down in my usual seat, glancing at the clock. After 5 minutes I felt my foot tapping on the floor and looked up at the door. Then I saw her...with Liam.

            He was saying something to her and she nodded. She quickly hugged him and smiled before he finally left. I relaxed my hands as I saw that they had clenched into fists. I saw her eyes scan the room as she came in. I watched as she walked slowly, unsure then her eyes met mine. Her eyes for a second had lit up before fading into a cold look. She quietly sat next to me and opened her books.

            "Jade," I whispered. I saw her hands shake and sighed. "I need to talk to you, please hear me out." Her eyes formed tears and she started picking up her stuff.

            "Jade," I said, but she didn't seem to hear me. Then she got up and sped out of the room. I looked around, surprised at what had happened before getting up and going after her.

            She had slowed down and I watched as she frantically searched for something. When she had her phone in her hands she looked back, saw me and started running. I shook my head knowing I was faster than her as I sped up. Once I had caught up to her I grabbed her by the waist and put her on my shoulder. She made a gasp of surprise before I started. I set her down in a corner before trapping her in my arms. 

            "Listen to me," I said.

            "Harry get off me," she yelled at me.

            "No, not until you listen to what I have to say," I said, grasping her shoulders.

            "I don't care if whatever you say is the truth or a lie, you cheated on me and that's just something I can't get over," she said, so hateful it made me step away. She took my moment of shock and used it to escape. This time, I didn't go after her.

*Jade's P.O.V

            Liam had offered to take me to class this morning so I wouldn't feel as if I were alone. He always used to be like this, supportive and caring. The way he was with me made my mind go back to the time when everything changed. That night years ago when Liam had chosen to leave me. When my first love...broke my heart.

*Flashback*

            "Jade, Liam, how are you?" My mother said politely when we walked into the room. My mom had met Liam before and she really liked him, but I knew my dad wouldn't.
