~Midnight Memories

*Jade’s P.O.V.

    The next morning when I woke up I got ready to go to “Human Pathology.” I put on my favorite pair of skinny jeans and a long sleeved blue shirt. Trying to hurry I left my hair down and then I went over to Katlyn to wake her up before grabbing my bag and heading out. Today was lecture day so all we had to do was take notes. When class was over I stopped by Maine’s. As soon as she saw me she came running to help me.

“Oh my god, I haven’t seen you in so long!” she said.

“I know, I’m sorry,” I told her.

“I thought you might have been in a ditch, or dead!” she said and I laughed,

“So, I’ve got the rest of the day free, how about I help you out and we can catch up?” I asked her. She smiled and led the way.

While helping her we talked about everything the other has missed out on. When I got done telling her about everything that has happened she looked at me and said, “No wonder you haven’t been by here.” We started laughing and that’s when Alondra walked in.

She saw both of us and I said “Hey.” She nodded her head before saying, “Hey. Maine time to go, uncle’s waiting for you, I’ll be here for at least an hour okay?” Then Maine started to pack her things.

“Stop by sooner this time,” she told me and I smiled and nodded before she left.

“So what were you and my cousin doing?” Alondra asked.

“We were just catching up since I haven’t stopped by here in a while.”

“Oh, okay,” she said before taking a red velvet cupcake out of the case and sitting down

“So I’ve been meaning to ask you …What happened with Niall?” I asked.

“We talked and we’ve decided to leave everything in the past and start fresh,” she told me, smiling.

“I’m glad,” I told her.

“Thank you Jade,” she said.

“No problem, what are friends for?” I replied. “Hey I have an idea, why don’t you stop by my dorm room later and we can have a sleep over with Katlyn,” I added.

“I don’t think tha-”

“Please, please, please,” I said cutting her off. She sighed before reluctantly saying, “Okay.”

“Well then stop by room 305 I have to go out and get us snacks and sweets,” I told her getting my purse.

“I’ll see you later,” she said giving me a light hug.

Then I left and since I didn’t have a car I knew I was going to have to call someone. First I called Katlyn but she didn’t answer, then I called Harry who texted that he was still in class. I sighed and continued walking back to my dorm when I bumped into Liam.
