~I Forgive You

*Jade’s P.O.V.

    “Harry stop,” I yelled. Then Liam got up and started protecting himself. They threw more punches and I got in the middle but they wouldn’t stop. I saw Liam’s fist come down and Harry pushed me down.  Then Harry continued to beat Liam down.

“Harry!” I screamed. He stopped and looked at me. “Get inside, I’ll be right there,” I added.

“Jade.”

“Harry, please,” I said and he went inside without saying anything else. I looked at Liam who was now getting up again.

“Liam, please try to steer clear of Harry and I for a while.” Liam didn’t say anything he just got up and left. When I went back into the room Harry was pacing.

“What is your problem?” I asked.

“You…I told you to stay away from him.”

“I know but he just came over to see if we could be friends,” I told Harry.

“No,” he stated.

“Look Harry, he is a good guy and my friend so I’m going to need you to accept that.” He sighed before saying, “Jade stop, I didn’t come here to talk about Liam…I want to talk about us. I’m sorry.”

“I’m sorry too,” I told him and put my arms around his neck as he leaned in for a soft lingering kiss.

“It’s not what you thought, I was just surprised and then I came to my senses. Would you really have liked to lose your virginity at a party?” he reasoned.

“No you’re right I was feeling hurt and I wasn’t exactly thinking straight. I’m sorry,” I told him again. Then he pulled me close to him and that’s when I saw his bloody knuckles.

“Oh my god Harry, we have to get that cleaned up,” I told him pulling away from his embrace. I went to the bathroom to get the first aid kit and cleaned him up. Then we fell asleep together after talking for a while longer.

When I woke up Harry wasn’t with me. The sheets felt cold and bare like he’d been gone for a while. I stretched out for a minute and my hand felt something. I looked over to find a note that said Jade in Harry’s handwriting.  It read, “Had an emergency, sorry. I’ll be at Raze later with the boys, meet me there.  -Harry” Then I heard Katlyn wake up and went over to help her.

“You okay?” I asked.

“No, I feel like hell,” she said and I shook my head.

“With the amount of vodka you consumed, it isn’t that surprising,” I told her.

“Just get me to the bathroom and give me water, aspirin, and a toothbrush,” she said and I did. By 1 in the afternoon she was feeling better and I was glad Liam didn’t stop by when he said he was going to because that would have screwed up things between us, even more. I invited her to go to the mall and then Raze with me and she agreed with the condition that I stopped her from drinking. I laughed before changing into black leggings and a long grey, sleeveless tunic.
