Here's a short cringy chapter.

My eyes shot open.
Well, I kind of pried my eyes open, having to wait for them to adjust before I could tell what was going on.
When the blurriness went away, I looked up to see Jack laying there, peacefully, snoring lightly. My eyes started bugging me and I realized I left my contacts in. I didn't want to get up, I wished that contacts took themselves out. Laying in bed for a while longer, I savored the moment of being warm.
Realizing that I'd have to get up sometime, I pried myself out of Jack's arms, picking up my phone on my nightstand I looked at the time, the numbers showing 4:32am. I rolled my eyes and stood up, standing on the cold floor. Tiptoeing so that I wouldn't wake up Jack, I made it to the bathroom, closing the door around before turning on the light. I was going to look at myself in the mirror when I realized that the glass was smashed.... Yeah, I forgot about that. I rolled my eyes at myself and got into the cupboard, pulling out my contact case and my glasses case, taking out my contacts and putting them in the saline. I pulled on my glasses, suddenly feeling better. Putting everything away and turning off the light, I walked back into my room, seeing Jack looking at the ceiling with teary eyes.
"Jack?" I asked.
Jack's head quickly snapped over to me and he wiped away his tears quickly, "Yeah, yeah Addie," he said, taking a deep breath, "I'm fine." he whispered.
"Jack..." I dragged it out, not believing him when he said he was fine. I walked over to the bed, laying back down, pulling up the covers. Looking at him and putting my hand on his chest I told him, "Please, just... tell me."
Jack sighed looking down at me, "I-C-Can it wait till tomorrow, like your little problem...?"
"Yeah," I told him, my eyes surely filled with worry, "Yeah of course."
He gave me a grateful smile and continued to look at me with affection.
"Get some sleep," I told him, kissing his cheek.
"Alright, you too." he told me.
"I will," I said, closing my eyes, "Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
