Here's a second part today because I feel like spoiling you.

----------

I woke up due to someone in my room. I didn't even open my eyes and I knew someone was here. Hearing the blinds being open confirmed my statement.

Slowly, I peeked through my eyelids; my vision blurry due to sleeping and my imperfect eyes.

Immediately I knew who it was; I didn't have to put on my glasses to see who it was. Knowing this fact confused me though... I thought they were gone?

Quickly I closed my eyes again and rolled over to face Jack, letting out a groan to make it seem like I was asleep. I buried my head in Jack's bare chest, causing him to pull me closer. It made me wonder... Jack probably discarded his shirt last night; after the month or so living here I realized it got really hot in my room.

After a little while, maybe five minutes or so, I heard my door close, this giving me the freedom to relax a bit.

"Is he gone?" I heard Jack whisper.

"I think so." I whispered back.

"Good," he said, "Then I can do what I was planning on doing."

I gave a confused look, slowly lifting my head from his chest. Just then I was pinned to my bed and attacked with tickles. "JACK!" I screamed. Wiggling around while Jack hovered over me.

He only did this for a minute or two before he decided kisses were better than tickles. Luckily it was Jack and I've known Jack for so long - best friends, ya' know. Plus... I don't swing that way. (If you didn't already know, throughout the constant reminding.)

For him this was just as effective because I'm ticklish. When he finally stopped he looked down and kissed my nose. "You can tell you've been hanging around Alex." I laughed.

"Adaline." A loud voice caused me to push Jack off of me.

"Hank?" I asked - This confirmed that he was who I saw in my room earlier.

"That's my name." he said, leaning on the doorway with his arms crossed.

"I didn't think you guys were coming home till the end of the week." I said, sitting up in bed and grabbing my glasses off of the nightstand, putting them on.

"Yeah well," Hank said, "You thought wrong." he snapped.

"But... why? How?" I asked.

"Well, first our flight got cancelled, and then the party we were going to got cancelled all together. Your mother and I decided we'd just come home today, so we went and got Scottie from his friends house and brought him back home as well." Hank explained.

"Oh." I said, looking over at Jack.

"So..." Hank said, "Care to explain what's going on here?"

"I... Uh- Hank I don't know if you knew but-"

"Oh, just leave them alone, they've been best friends since they were kids." my mom appeared in my doorway next to Hank.

"Well, I'd like to know what my daughter is doing in bed with some guy who just happened to be here while we were gone. Also why she's not in school" He said, turning fully to my mother.

"They always sleep together," My mom retorted, "Sure I was kind of freaked out at first but it's not a big deal, they're friends Hank. We will have to talk about why you're not in school though Addie."

"And Hank," I butted in, trying to ignore what my mom had said about 'we will have to talk', "I'm not your daughter. And I never will be."

Hank's face filled with rage, "I- you- We'll continue this later." He pointed at me, glaring at Jack and my mother, storming off.

"I'm sorry about that Jack." my mom apologized.

"It's not a big deal mom, really." Jack said.

She gave a small smile and closed the door around, but that didn't stop the yelling that I heard.

I looked down at my lap, crossing my legs. "I'm sorry you had to hear that Jack." I apologized again, as if my mom hadn't already.

"Addie, it's okay." Jack said, "Nothing's your fault, it's all that bitch's fault."

I smiled at him, "That doesn't change the 'We'll talk about this later.'" I quoted Hank, also my mom... school wasn't my top priority today.

"Well," Jack shrugged, "This just means that I'm going to have to stay here all day." He smiled.

A smile appeared on my face and I looked up at him with hope in my eyes. "You will?"

"Yeah I will," Jack said, "We can order pizza, watch Star Wars and Harry Potter cause you're a little nerd and everyone knows it."

"Yeah," I said, "But I'm also a badass son of a bitch."

"Indeed you are, Addie," Jack smiled, resting his hand on my shoulder, "Indeed you are."

*

Jack and I made ourselves comfortable; he ordered pizza and after words we made a blanket fort. String lights hung from the "ceiling" and the floor was padded with a bunch of blankets, pillows also lined the walls. Inside, there my laptop sat, along with a few of my favorite novels.

While we waited for the pizza we sat on the roof outside my window; I sat and smoked while Jack kept an eye out for the pizza man.

The car pulled around the corner and Jack stood up. I put out my cigarette and followed him inside and downstairs. At the first knock Jack opened the door.

A girl with bright green eyes stood in front of us. The brunette pushed her hair behind her ears out of her face. She repeated our order to us with her sweet voice and told us the total. Jack handed her the cash and took the box not before telling her to keep the change and giving her a wink.

She smiled and made her way back to the car. After closing the door Jack and I looked at each other. "She was cute right?" Jack asked me.

"Definitely." I responded.

"She's probably straight." "She's probably a lesbian."

Jack and I both looked at each other after talking over one another. We laughed and made our way back to my room.

Jack climbed into the blanket fort and sat down the pizza, holding out his arms like a child would. I shut the door and climbed into the fort, curling up next to him. He wrapped his arm around me as I opened the laptop sitting there; Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was pulled up - my favorite one. I looked at Jack lovingly, "You know me so well." I told him.

"I tend to know people I like." Jack said, giving a crooked smile, looking down at me.

I smiled back and curled next to him closer, starting the movie and grabbing a piece of pizza, handing Jack one.

I didn't want to be anywhere else.

GOALS.

I said it because I know you were thinking it.

I wrote it because I wish I had cuddles like this... *Gross sobbing*.

I'm joking, I wrote it because I was feeling fluffy and adorable and cute so here, have all the fluff (Even though Addie and Jack aren't together, best friend fluff).

Dedication - PrettyinPunkClifford because she's my cuddle buddy.
