"She knows a girl, who puts the color inside of her world."
I couldn't stop thinking about her.
Fuck, why does she have to be so attractive?
Why does she have to be so sweet?
Why is everything her flooding my thoughts?
I didn't think love at first sight was real, but then... she happened.
She intoxicates my every thought. Everything I do reminds me of her. Just thinking about her voice fills me with joy and a strong need to see her again.
*POUND, POUND, POUND* I don't know why people decide to interrupt me.
I opened my bedroom door to find the face of Hank. "Someone's at the door for you," His voice brought back memories of a dark room and a bruised face. Hank stood there and I didn't move, "Well hurry up you whore!" he yelled.
I shielded my body a bit and started walking down the hall. Who is here now? It's a Saturday; shouldn't everyone be out with their friends?
I opened the door back up; I didn't have to even look to see who it was before they tackled me into a bear hug.
"What do you want, Jack?" I asked.
"I want to spend time with you!" he said with a giant smile. He backed away and looked at me, I stayed quiet. "What's on your mind?" He asked, receiving no answer, "Honey? Baby? Sugar? Doll?"
Slowly a smile appeared on my face, "Close the door! I have so much I need to tell you!" I said, running up the stairs, expecting him to follow. I was halfway up the stairs when I looked back down to make sure he was following me.
We got to my room and I closed the door as Jack sat on my bed and waited. "Alright Blondie, spill." He said as I sat on the bed in front of him, cross-legged staring into his eyes.
I told him everything, from Adam and his flirtiness to Bobby and how the thought of her wouldn't leave me alone.
"Ooohhh, someone's in looovvveeee." Jack said, poking my stomach.
"I wouldn't say love," I told him, slapping his hands away, "I barely know anything about the girl."
"Fine, whatever," he said, putting his hands up in defense, "But you better talk to her because if you don't, I will."
"Jack, she's probably straight, like the rest of the girls I go after."
"It doesn't hurt to try." Jack said.
"Fine," I agreed, picking up my phone and dialing Adam's number. I wanted to see her and talk to her, but I didn't want to make it obvious. "Hey, Adam."
"Hi princess, what's up?" he asked.
"I'm sorry to interrupt... whatever you're doing, but, are you busy... any time really..?" I asked.
"It's alright, no, I'm not busy; why? Did you want to come over?"
"If that's okay."
"Yeah, that's fine. I'll come and get you tonight, at like, 5 maybe." He told me.
"Thank you. I'll text you my address." With that, I hung up.
Jack threw his hands in the air in excitement, "Addie's got a crusshhh!"
"Shh!" I said, slapping my hand over his mouth, "What is this middle school? And you're acting like a girl right now."
"Sorry for being excited." He said. After a little while, he stood up, "I'm using your laptop." He told me.
