Hiko Hibiki stood over Yuzuki's body laying on the cold metal table with his hands gripping the edge. Her skin was pale and her body was stiff. He stared at her peaceful face with tear filled eyes.

She laid there naked with a sheet to cover her body. Her skin was clean from the blood and her black hair neatly brushed. He cleaned up the cut on her left forearm, he straightened out the length of the piece of hair that was sliced off.

His eyes trailed to the stab wound in her stomach. Hiko couldn't bring himself to look at her anymore. He cupped her cold cheek missing the warmth and took in a shaky breath. He brushed back her hair to notice a small scar on the right corner of her forehead; if memory served him correctly, he treated that head wound after Rin was killed.

At least now, she was with her team.

"She can't be dead." Katsuko's hoarse voice said coming from the doors, after hours of crying and eyes puffed red, she refused to believe her friend was gone. Hiko stood straight and welcomed his mourning daughter into his arms. She took in a shaky breath leaning into her father.

"I'm sorry, Katsuko."

She leant away to gaze on her friend laying on the table. It was like only hours ago she pried Kakashi from her, but it's only been a day, and it's felt like months. "There isn't anything we can do?" she pleaded. "There isn't some Hibiki ritual I haven't heard of?"

"You don't mess with the dead, Katsuko." Hiko placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "They never come back the same. You don't want that for her." he brushed back her orange hair and she stifled a sob.

"But, it's been done before?"

"I forbid it."

Hiko slid the tray which her body laid on back into the refrigerator and sealed the door shut. He felt terrible leaving her in there, but he had hundreds of other bodies to perform autopsy's on, and he wasn't ready for Yuzuki yet.

"Let's go home." he ushered her out of the morgue filled with Uchiha bodies.

Kakashi sat staring at his wall until the sun went down, he didn't know what to do with himself. The aching in chest was almost unbearable. His head hurt worse than anything else. All he wanted to do was die.

Katsuko had cried all night until the sun came up and she slept for the day to try and forget about the recent events, to forget about her heartache of loosing her friend. In her sleep, she felt nothing, she dreamt of nothing.

Sasuke sat awake in a lonely hospital room traumatised. His brother forced him to watch their parents die five million, eighteen thousand, and four hundred times. His emotions were twisted. He wasn't sure how he should feel; he loved his brother with everything he had, and now he hated him. He left him the sole survivor of the clan.

No one could get in contact with Kakashi, not Guy, not Asuma, not Kurenai or Iruka. He locked himself in his apartment with the shades drawn shut. They feared the worst for him. They thought he might kill himself now since he had officially lost everything and everyone precious to him.

Maybe he was like his father after all. He cried. Why did he deserve this? What did he do to deserve this hurt. He looked down at his hands where Yuzuki's blood was now dried. He clenched the same fist that struck Rin's heart. He was cursed.

The news was revealed that the Uchiha Clan where planning a coup against the Hidden leaf, with intent on releasing the demon housed within Yuzuki Uchiha, resulting in Itachi Uchiha to annihilate the clan. She was his first victim.

The news also spread quickly to neighbouring countries and it was a shock. The mighty Uchiha Clan slaughtered in one night with one sole survivor; although the information about Yuzuki was kept secret and confined to the Hidden Leaf, however, the Hibiki Elders had got wind of that news somehow.
