It was just like being in a dream between worlds. Walking on clouds and enjoying the sun. It was a dream state; one of the most loveliest dreams where she grazed through the light and soft grass between her toes.
"Yuzuki!" a sweet voice called for her. It was a familiar voice.
"Rin?"
Rin came from the light and grasped her hands. She was radiating in the white light, her brown eyes glowed like a chocolate river, her brown hair gleamed like morning coffee and her skin sparkled in the most radiating way. "Come with me." she urged.
Yuzuki allowed herself to be taken by Rin into the light. "We've been waiting for you." Rin's voice said.
"We?"
When they emerge on the other side she was met with the place most familiar to her. The market street of Konoha. Only it was empty, there was no one around expect for her and Rin. "Why are we here?"
"This is your place." said Rin and skipped ahead.
"Rin, wait!" she chased after her. "What do you mean!?" a hand grasped her arm and she whipped around to be met with the faces of Minato and Kushina.
"Sensei? Kushina?" tears came to eyes.
"Oh!" Kushina cried out and engulfed her in a tight hug. "I am so proud of you." over her shoulder, Minato smiled sweetly. "You've grown into an excellent kunoichi." he said. "It's time you rested now."
"I've missed you both so much!" Yuzuki cried onto Kushina's shoulder. "You should see Naruto."
"I know." Kushina leaned back to cup her cheek. "And you've done so well to look after him for us." she brushed away a stray tear.
That was when a crowd of voices could be heard, as if the market street came to life. But there was still no one there. Yuzuki turned back to see the dango shop and a silhouette of Kakashi sitting at a table by his lonesome staring at a plate of dango sticks.
"Kakashi!" she said excitedly and came running to him. Her smile dropped seeing his saddened expression. "Kakashi?" she called but he remained unfazed. "Kakashi, I'm here, I'm right here!" she waved a hand and he remained still like she wasn't there.
Rin came to her side and grasped her shoulder. "He can't see us." she said softly pulling Yuzuki away.
"We..." memories where coming back to her. "We were supposed to be on a date." she frowned sadly.
Rin pushed a smile guiding Yuzuki away from the glimpse. Yuzuki looked back to see the shop empty. Somehow she knew Kakashi was there, sitting by himself on their date. "He still needs me." she said.
"No. He doesn't." Rin took Yuzuki's hand into her's. "Come on, it's time to go."
"I don't... I don't want to. We were supposed to be on a date."
"You'll get stuck here. We have to go now. Everyone else is waiting for you"
"Who?"
Minato and Kushina came to stand behind Rin with warm smiles. Rin pulled Yuzuki towards the light smiling. Was Obito waiting for her, was her mother and father waiting for her?
Kushina reached out to grasp her arm. "We're here with you."
"It's time to rest now." Minato grasped her other arm.
Yuzuki stepped forward to willingly follow her Sensei to the other side. But that was when there was a sudden stop like she just walked into a wall. Confusion struck her face. "What's happening?" she felt herself being pulled back by an invisible force and her hands were torn from Rin.
