This time there where Anbu stationed at her door, inside and out. Extra measures where put in place just in case she tried to escape and kill Danzo Shimura. But Yuzuki was confined to her bed by a cufflink. "Is this necessary?" she asked Hiko who towered over a tray containing medical equipment.
"After your stunt last time?" he said picking up a flashlight. "Yes." he clicked on the little light and shined them into her eyes. Her pupils reacted normally. "How do your eyes feel?"
"A little sore."
"That's normal I suppose." he then picked up a needle. "I'm going to take some blood for testing." he explained. She nodded holding out her arm watching the needle pierce her skin and the blood filling the tube.
"What are you testing for?"
"Anything out of the ordinary." he removed the needle and placed a cotton ball over the puncture wound for her to hold in place. Hiko transferred the blood into a tube while watching Yuzuki lie on the bed. "Are the medication working? Do you feel any pain?"
"Only when I move too much."
"I don't know how you got around the last day without medication."
"Painfully."
Hiko shook his head disappointed. "You could have done serious damage." he scolded. "Worse than what you already have. You could have killed yourself."
"... Again." she murmured gazing at the ceiling. Hiko sighed heavily. He stuffed his thumbs into his pockets. At the moment Yuzuki was experiencing post surgery depression, only, it wasn't due to surgery, it was caused by being resurrected. Was there even a term for that, questioned Hiko.
"And now you say I can't have children one day?"
"There are other options, you know." Hiko explained. "One half of you still works. There's a new thing called I.V.F, but you're still to young to worry about that."
"So there's a way?"
"It's difficult. Or you could just keep trying until... whoah! Okay, stop." Hiko flailed becoming flustered. "You are WAY to young right now. I don't even want to think about this. Why am I even having this conversation? Not until you are much, much, much older." Yuzuki raised an amused eyebrow watching Hiko fluster over himself. "For gods sake, just, stop. You can worry about these things later in the far future. And I mean, a far away future."
Yuzuki chuckled. "Yeah, okay." She turned her head away with a small smile.
Across the the Village, The Third Hokage deeply contemplated his nexts moves with the advice of Shikaku Nara and the Hidden Leaf Council, minus Danzo. His first action was to remove both Kakashi Hatake and Yuzuki Uchiha from the rank of Anbu. For reasons being that the role was too dark for them, especially Kakashi who had a kind heart. He was not going to create another Itachi. He was not fit for Anbu.
And as for Yuzuki, the reasons are obvious. She is unstable, and the dark role of Anbu would drive her further into darkness. Although she was perfect for Anbu, she had the skills, the mindset, and the power to turn off her feelings; but her mind wasn't. She was unfit for Anbu.
Assigning Kakashi Hatake to Jonin, and a teacher, might just do him some good. The same method would be tried for Yuzuki, whether it worked or not, was not foreseeable. It was a long shot, but a shot regardless.
In the council chamber, sitting across the Hokage and his advisors, sat three Hibiki Elders. All with vibrant orange hair straightened into the same hairstyle. Long and straight. All three were mid fifties adorning elaborate kimono's. Three Elders to represent the first three brothers. "Where is Yuzuki Uchiha?" the First one demanded with a sly voice and skinny fingers.
"Alive." informed the Third Hokage tipping his hat. The three Elders all glanced to each other across the table. The Second Elders whipped out a fan and began to fan himself lightly.
"I thought she was dead?" he questioned suspiciously.
"She was pronounced dead at first. She was revived." explained the Council. "All thanks to our medical team."
"Wonderful." the Third Elder regarded sarcastically. He was hoping for a body. "And what of the demon inside her?"
"Lying dormant for now."
"You do understand the allegations and laws of announcing demon vessels, yes?" the first Elder said. "For nineteen long years, our first demon has been missing, and he was here the entire time, and yet you failed to announce it. Stolen by Uchiha ninja, sealed in an Uchiha child, and now they're all dead?"
"That wasn't the story I was told." Hiruzen explained filling with annoyance regarding the Elders. There entire demeanour was annoying. "I was told she was born with it as a result of her mother feasting on demon chakra. That was all a lie, of course. It wasn't until the downfall of the Uchiha where I discovered the truth and their motivations. Which why you where then informed."
"We still want to see her." said the Second Elder gently waving a fan.
"That won't be possible. She is in the intense care ward, she is weak, and injured."
"You told us she was dead?" the Third Elder raised a questionable eyebrow. "And now suddenly she is alive when we want our demon returned?"
The Third Hokage idly looked to his Council for silent advice. The looks on their faces told him 'no'. Hiruzen sighed. "Hiko Hibiki resurrected Yuzuki Uchiha unaware the demon was half alive inside of her." the Council sighed heavily.
"A revenant!" the Third Elder gasped. "Oh, how rare, I love those! They're not like Edo Tensei. Where did he get the ritual from?"
"He claimed his father gave it to him. He was saving it for his own daughter and ended up wasting it on someone else who is like a daughter to him."
"His father...?" the First Elder rubbed his chin. "The only Hibiki who posses things like that are those of direct bloodline to the First Brothers."
The Second Elder leaned into the first and whispered. "Hiko Hibiki is the son of Eiji Hibiki, he is next in line to be elected as an Elder."
The First gasped dramatically. "Oh, I know now. The sly man." he laughed. "I demand to see both Hiko Hibiki and Yuzuki Uchiha."
The Third Hokage glanced to his council before saying, "Very well. As you wish. You may stay in the village for as long as you like, and until we can get Yuzuki strong enough to be brought to you."
The First smiled. "Very good. We look forward to it."
