Chapter 24: The New Team Seven

"Can I introduce the new team seven?" Kakashi said presenting forth an overly hyped Naruto Uzumaki, a Sasuke Uchiha that didn't seem interested, and a girl with cherry pink hair who just seemed to keep looking at Sasuke, also known as Sakura Haruno.

Yuzuki's dark eyes widened excited and surprised. "They passed the bell test?" She said and Kakashi nodded.

"They showed great teamwork."

Sakura groaned. "That test was the worst!" Then she pressed shoulders to Sasuke. "But Sasuke was the only one who got a bell." She wore a pink dress with her forehead protector as a headband.

Naruto grinded his teeth and crossed his arms jealous of the attention Sakura was giving Sasuke. For once she was able to stand before Naruto Uzumaki without the fear of getting in trouble by the laws put in place. So far there was no activity coming from Jurun or the tailed beast within Naruto. Tears came to her eyes. "Congratulations."

"So," Said Naruto placing a hand on his chin. His wide blue eyes gazed up at Yuzuki. "You're Kakashi Sensei's girlfriend?"

Yuzuki nodded. "I am."

"And Sasuke's cousin?"

Sasuke grumbled bitterly. "You know that already, idiot." and he turned his head away in angst. Sakura Haruno however had her green eyes now trained on Yuzuki Uchiha. She clapped her hands together in admiration.

"No way, I've heard so much about you. You resurrected from the dead." Sakura announced with a soft voice. "Supposedly." Upon her words, Sasuke's face contorted and he turned away uncomfortable with the topic.

Yuzuki noticed and tried to laugh it off. "It is true." She replied. Immedielty, Yuzuki was reminded of Rin, expect for the fact that Rin was a lot softer and more kind hearted. Sakura was a little hard headed and aggressive.

"I don't believe that!" Naruto shouted with a loud voice. "No one can just randomly rise from the dead."

Yuzuki placed her hands on her hips. "Oh yeah, do you want to see the scar?" She challenged the little yellow haired boy wearing an orange jumpsuit and a Hidden Leaf forehead protector around his forehead. Kakashi just looked between Yuzuki and Naruto.

Naruto waved his hands frantically. "No thanks!" He shouted. Yuzuki's eyes came to met Kakashi's one exposed eye. Naruto reminded them of Obito so much, the son that Kushina always wanted to have. And here he stood before them. It made Yuzuki emotional.

"What's your goal?"

"To become Hokage, believe it!" Said Naruto holding a thumbs up.

Yuzuki glanced to the Fourth Hokage monument in the mountainside knowing that one day Naruto would know what a great hero and ninja his father was. "Well, you still have missions and training to complete first. You have a long way to go before you can become as good as the Hokage." A smug smile came to Yuzuki's lips. "You know, D-rank missions around the village to get you started. I remember those days. Chasing cats were the most fun."

Naruto faltered. "Oh man."

Suddenly, Yuzuki's face blanked and her eyes became distant. Kakashi was quick to come forward and grasp her shoulders. "Yuzuki?" He gently shook her shoulders. His new team of genin gathered around also concerned. Sasuke mostly since this was the first time seeing his older cousin go blank like that.

"What's wrong with her?" He asked worried.

"Is she okay?" Sakura asked holding her hands to her chest.
Kakashi looked back to the three young ninja. "This isn't the first time. She usually comes out of it after awhile."
