*Tuesday; January 31st: 7:05 am*

I woke up to my annoying alarm and got ready for school.

I hopped on the shower first and you know, washed my hair 2 times, the conditioned it once, then I washed my body.

Once I was finished with my shower, I brushed my teeth and got dressed.

I grabbed my phone and backpack and head out with Ashton, Lauren, and Harry.

Once we got to our school, after dropping off Lauren and Harry, I got out of the car slowly.

"What's wrong Esme?" Ashton asks noticing me.

"Oh um... Nothing Ashton." I reply hesitantly. He shrugs and we walk in the school together.

"Luke!" I tell once I see him. I run and hug him and he rubs my back.

"Hey it'll be okay. I'll be with you all day if you need it." he says while hugging.

"Thank you."

Ashton catches up to us and Luke let's go of me. We go to our lockers and Michael comes up to me.

"Hi besties!!" he screams in a girly voice.

"Michael. You are retarded." I say laughing. He laughs with me and gives me a hug.

"Okay. So... How was your first day? I didn't see you after school." Michael asks. I looked to him then to Luke and Luke explained what happened and he looked at me.

"Wow, bitches. Since when have girls been interested in any of us?" Michael asks adding a laugh. I shrugged and sighed.

"Wait. Do you like Calum?" Michael asks. I stop moving and look at him.

"What? No. No I don't like Calum. Not like that at least." I say confused at why he would ask that.

"Oh okay." He answers with a shrug.

"Why?" I ask, scratching the back of my neck.

"I was just wondering. Then those girls won't have competition." he answers quietly. I blushed slightly and nodded.

Technically he called me pretty. Oh gosh. We started walking to our first classes and Calum came up to me.

"Hey Esme." he said with a big smile.

"Hi Calum. Why so, happy?" I say pausing.

"Oh. I have a girlfriend now!" he exclaims excitedly.

"That's amazing! Who is it?" I ask faking a smile.

I should be happy for him, but for some reason that I don't know....

I'm hurt.

"Oh it's a girl named Jaden." He says happily. I nod And we go into class.

I was silent all class, taking notes and paying attention, and no one bothered me.

Calum looked over at me multiple times and it bothered me.

The teacher gave us 5 minutes to pack up and a girl walked up to Calum.

"Hey Jaden" Calum said happily. I took a good look at her.

She was the one that said that stuff yesterday. I backed up a bit and she gave me a smirk.

I rolled my eyes and left as soon as the bell rang.

I don't like Calum. I never will. We are friends.

"Esme!" I turned to.see Calum, with Jaden at his side.
