Two cracks maybe? Three? Not over four... My vision is blurred with red. Blood maybe. Voices ring in the distance. Shouting something. I'm not sure what. A flash of heat runs through my veins. Hot blood runs down my face. What happened? War bombs. An explosion maybe. I feel people grabbing me trying to pick me up.

"Boss?" The voice distorts itself and says something else, "Leroy Jethro Gibbs? Can you hear me?" I'm unable to move or respond. My head is spinning. Then everything is silent.

"Baby? Wake up," a voice says. It's Shannon, and next to her, Kelly.

"What time is it," I ask. My mouth moves without me telling it to.

"5 AM," Kelly says.

"You should be asleep," I say to her.

"I wanted to say bye," she says and frowns.

"You think I was going to leave before I could say bye to you?"

"No," she starts smiling again. Then all of that disappears. I see the day that I left for training in Iran. Sniper training, bomb running, and all sorts of things. Kelly and Shannon are both giving me hugs and a kiss. I see myself talking to them.

"I have to go." "I don't want you to." "I don't have a choice. Bye, I love you Sweetie." "Bye daddy."

More and more images fly around me until it stops. Something jerks me up. It's a white room, with two men standing around a bed I'm laying in. A tube is running down my throat, and I can't breath. One of the men, dressed in a white coat, tries pulling it out while the other holds me down. The tube runs up my throat and finally is out. The man dressed in the coat puts a mask up to my face and tells me to breath. I try to. One of the men asks me, "Do you have any questions?"

Yea, just one, "Where am I?"
