~DiNozzo's POV~

And when Aram sticks the needle into Gibbs neck, I see true fear in his eyes. Fear that the legendary Leroy Jethro Gibbs has never shown. Fear of what he knows he will see. The needle is filled with a drug that creates severe hallucinations, and with a large exposure, death. This is what Aram intends to do. Kill the only person that has a chance of stopping him from going through with an attack on the White House. And now that might happen. The lead we had was from the FBI, and that meant that it was classified to all but Gibbs. If he was gone, the lead would be gone and a terrorist attack would take place and the White House would be destroyed. Aram is muttering in Gibbs ear, and it doesn't seem like he's listening. He looks kinda lost. Like he can't tell where he is. And then i hear him gasp, just barely. His eyes widen, and he whispers something to himself.

"Are you surprised Agent Gibbs?" Aram ask.

Gibbs turns his face towards us, but his eyes are closed. Actually, they are sealed shut. He looks terrified, and then I realize he is in a world of twisting memories of his past. Kuwait, the Marines, his former life as a probie, and his family that he will never see again. Shannon and Kelly, his wife and daughter. They were killed while Gibbs was in Desert Storm. He never got over it, but who could?

But then I see something I have never seen. A single tear, running down his face. I don't know exactly what he's seeing, but I know it's bad. I need to do something.

Gibbs hands were tied behind his back, but I notice that when Aram walks away, he has cut the restraints. This is my chance to help Gibbs. I get the attention of McGee.

          ~McGee's POV~

I notice Tony tapping his leg. At s moment like this, when we are all tied up and Gibbs is dying, I wouldn't suspect him to be doing anything. I notice a pattern. It's morse code. He keeps tapping.

NO TIES.

I look at Gibbs. Tony's right, Gibbs restraints have been cut off and his hands are hanging limply at his sides. They drag him against a wall, and he doesn't resist. He's motion less, either blinking away the images or losing consciousness. His breathing is patchy. In large amounts the drug can be fatal. And I can tell, Gibbs is getting close. We have one chance to do this. I warn Bishop.

         ~Bishop's POV~

McGee wishers in my ear, "Go for one of the guards. We are going to go for Gibbs."

"Got it," I say back.

Tony taps his leg one, two, three times. McGee lunges forward on one guard and I on another. DiNozzo runs for Aram.

He jumps him and the fight. McGee takes down his guard down and helps me. I disarm him and we knock him out.

"Bishop," McGee says, "Help me get Gibbs." We run across the room towards Gibbs. He's unconscious.

            ~Gibbs POV~

She screams.

"No!" I'm running to them, Shannon and Kelly, my wife and my daughter.

The car is covered in blood. I can't get to them. Voices run in my head.

"They're dead and its all your fault!"

"You could have helped them!"

And the voices are right. It is my fault. I could have done something. I sink down to my knees. A single tear streaks down my face. I taste the salt. I'm choking on something. It tastes like blood. I'm coughing it up.

I'm dying.
