~~Gibbs POV~~

It's a normal day. Well, if you can call my life normal.

I walk into my office exhausted. I was up all night working on my boat.

"Morning, Boss," Tony DiNozzo, my employee, says, "You don't look to good."

"I'm fine," I blow it off, "Didn't get much sleep last night."

"Boat?"

"Boat."

"Of course," he laughs. Once I sit down I realize something. I didn't get my coffee.

"Morning, Boss!" Timothy McGee walks in.

"Morning," I stand up to buy a precious coffee.

"Where you going?"

"I need coffee." No one questions anything. They learned that a long time ago.

"Morning Gibbs. Where are you going," asked Ziva.

"Coffee." She keeps walking.

I am about to press the elevator door when Jen walks up.

"Morning, Jethro. Where are you going?"

"For goodness sakes! Can I go and buy my coffee??"

"If I told you that you couldn't what would you say?"

The doors open and I run into the elevator, "Funny Jen." They close. I laugh just a little. When the doors open I walk out the door and head to the coffee stand.

"The normal Agent Gibbs," Kyle asks me.

"You bet," I say.

"Jake," he yells at the new coffee boy, "Jamaican Black Blend!"

"Coming up," Jake says. He looks me up and down for a moment, and looks away before he thinks I notice. I still do. Something is strange about the kid, but before I finish my thought Kyle hands me my coffee.

"Thanks," I walk away after paying him. I take a moment to walk around the building next to Abby's lab. I sip on my coffee. Now I feel better, but I will most likely need about five more in the next few hours. And yes, next few hours. Once I get close enough to Abs lab, I skip a rock that taps the glass. She comes barreling over to the window to get mad at somebody, but when she sees me she smiles. She waves and I wave back. I keep walking. When I go back to the front side of the building I am out of coffee. I start to walk back. When Kyle sees me he laughs.

"Already?"

"Long night."

"Alright," he says, "On the house."

"Then you get a big tip. And make it two."

"You really need it today don't cha?" He yells the order to Jake again and this time the kid doesn't look at me.

I am handed my two coffees and this time I walk in the building and go up the elevators.

"Welcome back, Boss. What took ya so long," DiNozzo asks.

"Third cup," is my reply.

"Man. How much of the boat did you get done," this time its McGee.

"Frame." My mind is sharp from the now downed second cup, "What do we got?"

"Nothing today, Gibbs. At least not yet," Ziva says.

"Good," I lean back in my chair. Then I remember I promised Abs that I would give her a Caf-Pow first thing, "I'll be back."
