==Third Person==

The team was standing outside of a large door, all looking at each other, questioning who was going to get dosed up.  The situation that they were in was not a good one. One of them had to take an altered version of a drug so that they could enter the altered environment that a bio-terrorist was in. He had created it so that only the person who had taken the drug could enter. The only problem?

A person's body had to be accustomed to the drug or it would temporarily shut down. Not long, only for a few hours. None of the team could stay awake for long.

But would that stop Gibbs? No.

He had taken on the task of injecting the substance into his system so that he could enter the altered environment. It was created so that a normal person's system would start to shut down if they entered. His act of terrorism was going to be setting that environment up in D.C.

And now Gibbs was about to walk in there. McGee was about to inject the drug into him.

"Boss," he said, almost in defeat, "Are you sure..."

"Just do it McGee," Gibbs said back. As the needle went in his arm he flinched. He knew what this was going to do to him. After he got shot and then collapsed in the bullpen his immune system wasn't as strong. This was going to take a toll on him. McGee pulled the needle out of his arm. "We all know the plan?" He looked them all dead in the eye. They all nodded.  He took a breath, and then entered the room.

None of the team could see inside, and none of them wanted to. They just knew that when the big red light went off they needed to get in there.

As soon as the door to the chamber closed, Gibbs felt the pressure of the different environment. He knew he didn't have much time until he passed out. The room was dark, save for a bright light that signaled the altered environment. He had to find the off switch.

"You are going to die, Agent Gibbs," the voice of Rodger Kaiden rang out, "You won't make it long in here."

"But that drug of yours helps," Gibbs taunted back.

"You're body isn't used to it. You won't be awake much longer." Gibbs drew in a deep breath. He felt his arms and legs start to get weak. He had one chance. He had an idea about where the switch was, but it wasn't going to be fun getting there. He slowly followed the walls, searching for the panel that McGee had told him about. "Where are you Agent Gibbs? Tired already?" His hand touched something cool and metal. This had to be it. His head was spinning at this point.

"You know," Gibbs said, "You should really work harder on hiding these panels..." He pulled his gun up and fired three times at the panel. Rodger yelled and leaped forward. Outside the light turned off.

"GO!" DiNozzo was in first, then Bishop and McGee. As they entered they heard a gunshot. "Gibbs??" The lights blared on, blinding the team for a moment. When they opened their eyes again, they saw the lifeless body of Rodger Kaiden. "Boss?"

Gibbs weapon was drawn, aimed at where Rodger had been standing. He was leaned back against the wall. "I'm...alright..." He stood up off the wall. "Did...I...get him?"

"Yea you did, Boss," McGee said.

"Good..." He took a step, but his legs gave out.

"Catch him!" DiNozzo and McGee grabbed him before he hit the ground. His eyes were closed and his head lolled forward. He was still breathing.

"Let's get him out of here," DiNozzo said, giving a slight smirk towards Gibbs. "Good work Boss."
