I woke up with my head resting on Phil's shoulder.
"Good morning sleeping beauty." He said.
"Hi." I respond, wiping the sleep from my eyes. "What time is it?"
"Ummm... 4:30 I think." He replied.
"SHIT." I jump off the bed. "I am going to be so, so late!" I yelled.
"I'm sorry, I let you sleep." Phil said, looking down.
"It's not for your fault." I said. I hadn't meant to make him feel bad. Phil smiled at this, which filled me up with happiness.
"So, what are you going to be late for?" Phil asked.
"Work." I answered simply. I had working at the same place since I was twelve.
                              "Oh. How late?"
"Half an hour." I answered regretfully. I really can't lose my job. What would happen to me if I did?
"So I gotta go, but if you wanna wait until I get back...you can." I said hopefully.
"Depends...when will you get back?" He smirked. He was teasing me!
"6:30," then I sighed to be more dramatic, "but I'll probably work late."
"Well, only if I can stay the night?" He asked. As much as I think letting him stay over is not the best idea, I couldn't just let him win our game.
"You can stay the whole weekend if you'd rather." He laughed but was blushing. I knew he would have to pull back soon.
"Well, I don't want to stay in the house alone. You should just skip work, keep me...entertained." He winked at the last part.
"I'll keep you pleased for the rest of the weekend." I took a step towards him to be more convincing.
"Nah, I think I'll just go wait here for the day." We both burst out in fits of laughter. I won.
"Alright, I'll text you if I'm working late." I said. He smiled. I couldn't help but want to stay, continue watching anime, lay my head back on his shoulder, fall asleep, or stay awake. But I had to go to work.
                              "Alright. Oh Dan?" Phil paused.
                              "Yeah?"
"I really like you." I could feel the Crimson creeping into my cheeks. He feels the same way I do!
"Phil." I pretended to be embarrassed, as if I didn't return the feeling. Phil looked down, tears gathering in his eyes.
"I really like you too." We both looked into the others eyes, and I wanted to stay drowning in that ocean forever, but I couldn't.
                              "Bye, Phil."
"Goodbye Dan!" Phil looked like an excited Dalmatian puppy, with his pale skin, black hair, and adorable face. I just wanted to hug him, and never let go.
"I really like you." Phil's words echoed in my head. I know that we are soulmates and everything, but wow. Someone as beautiful as him deserves someone so much more perfect than me. But if I'm who he likes, well, I am the luckiest seventeen year old in the entire world.
YAY I AM SO HAPPY AHHH
