23- i missed you.

Daniel's POV

today has been 6 months since Amber and I broke up. It's really got to me. The first few weeks I wouldn't say a single word to anyone. I don't talk as much as I used to now. I miss her too much. I don't think I will ever get over her. I thought she was the one.

I get a text form Cameron.
"Hey did u wanna come over?"
"Nah mate. Soz..." I don't normally say that. Hmm. I start getting ready for school. Another day, another place, boring. I don't skate anymore before school. It just brings memories. I get in my car and drive to school parking where Amber used to park. Arrrrrrrr! I need to get her off my head now!!!!! As I get out the car I slam the door. I'm too attached to her. I need to let her go. This is killing me.

I walk to my locker and put in my code. Ambers locker got replaced with another user. Arhhhhhh! Stop thinking about Amber! I didn't purposely break up with her, well I did, but I was upset and I wasn't thinking. Shawn and Cameron know everything about how I feel for Amber. They respect me and my feelings. I miss her too much. The bell goes and I go to home group sitting at the back with Shawn, Cameron Skyla and Taya.

"Have you heard from Amber?" Taya says looking at me. She has been asking that at leased once a week since the past few months. I shake my head and she looks down.
"Sorry." I say. Then the teacher walks in and starts saying the roll...
"DANIEL!!!!" I hear the teacher yell. I look up everyone is looking at me. I must have zoned out. "No miss, I'm not here!" I yell back. Everybody laughs.

When school finishes

The bell goes and we all immediately stand up and migrate out of the class room. It was so good to get out of there. Ugh! I walk to my locker and put it in my code. I'm not thinking straight and I get the code wrong. I smack my hand on the door in rage and try again. This time it works. In the corner of my eye I see a group of people standing next to me. I look. It's the group of guys from one of the other year 10 classes. They tower over me with their height apart from one who is the same as me.

"What do you want?" I say bitterly.
"Thinking about Amber again?" The leader says.
"Don't say that name."
"There's no point in holding on to her, she left you and she doesn't love you..."
Even though I know this is true I swing my fist and him and tackle him to the ground. His friends just watch. Shawn had to pull me off him. Shawn is freakishly strong. I push Shawn's hand off my arm and walk back to my locker chucking my stuff in my bag.

I walk to my car. I'm acting like an 8 year old. As I get in the car a bunch of girls run up to my car trying to open the doors to see me. Ugh! I really don't need this now. I beep the horn to get them out of the way. They all jump back in fear and I reverse out and drive off. I'm being ridiculous. It takes me 5 minuets to drive home while speeding. I didn't get caught though. I park in the garage and when I get out I slam my door so hard the window shatters. Out raged at that I punch my car leaving a small dint. Woa. I didn't know I was that strong

I walk outside the garage putting my headphones in and I keep on walking down the path. I've been walking for 10 minuets. I don't even know what I'm listening too. I look at my phone to change the music then I walk into something. I look up and my heart just got sewn back together. She looks different. Older, prettier. She pushes her hair behind her ear.
"Sorry..."
I scratch the back of my neck. I do that when I'm nervous. "Are..you...o..Kay...?" Before she can answer a car drives past and the dog she was walking I'm assuming it's hers chances the car. She starts running but I know she won't be able to catch it. I run after the dog and I have to step on its lead to get it to stop. I hope I didn't hurt it. It is too fluffy to walk it on the lead so I pick it up and carry it to Amber.
"Thank you" she says patting the dog.
"Why did you leave?" I whisper.
"Maybe I loved you to much..." She whispers back. Woa. I think I just exploded. She still likes me?
"Really?" I ask making sure I heard what I heard. "I've never stopped liking you..." Awkward.
"I thaught you hated me..." She says looking down. I can't believe she thought that! I shake my head.

"We all miss you." I say breaking the silence.
"Sure you do!" She looks up. "I've seen your vines, you're all happy without me!" She sounds mad.
"We were acting for the camera because people kept on asking for videos and we couldn't say no." It's the truth.
She looks down. "Oh". I'm desperate... I have to ask.
"I...uh, I was thinking... Ugh....did you maybe, wanna get back together...?" I just asked her. Please say yes!
She jumps into my arms. It feels so good. How much I missed her! I hug her tight not wanting to let her go. Instead, she lets go and leans down to introduce me her dog.

"This is flip." She says. I kneel down to pat him too.
"He's so cute!" Dogs are my favourite. "How old is he?"
"4 months, I got him three months ago and he's mine!" She says teasing.
"I'm so jealous!" I laugh. Flip rolls onto his stomach for me to pat him.

Amber point to a spot in the grass. "I was laying over there when you Broke up with me..."
I'm curious. "Why were you over there?"
"I was skating home and you texted me so I looked at my phone without stopping and I fell." She says. I feel so bad.
"I'm sorry." I whisper.
"I was being a jerk though." She laughs.
"You were." I laugh back, joking with her.
We start walking.
"It's good to see you again Daniel." She says looking at me. I look at her.
"6 months" I say trying to give her a hint that it was hell for me.
"You know 4 months ago you got pranked?" She says looking down.
"Yeh?"
"That was me and my friends" she looks down. I laugh. I thought so.
"Did you want a drink or snacks or something?" She asked gesturing to her house. I nod and we start walking. I'm overjoyed.
