Just my luck

29- bye bye

We get into Cam's car and I sit behind Skyla who sits in the front passenger seat. I grab my phone and open up snapchat and I give it to Skyla. She grabs it and holds it out in front her getting everybody in the car. We all pull a funny face. I sit next to Shawn and Taya and dan sit in the back.

Cam pulls up and Skyla gives me my phone. Everybody gets out of the car while I just add the photo to my story. Then I take a step out of the car then fall. Taya cracks up laughing. I look up to see her foot where my foot was. She tripped me over.

Still laughing she holds out a hand and I grab it pulling her down with me then I get up and start walking to the cinema entrance. Sometimes I really hate her! Ugh! I'm walking so fast nobody catches up to me. I get there and go straight in line to buy food. The other guys don't get there till like twenty seconds after. I don't look at them and I just focus on the line and what I want to order.

I feel breathing on the back of my neck but I don't turn around. Then arms around me. I turn my head to see Daniel hugging me from the back. I look back in front of me.
"Are you ok?" He whispers into my ear.
"No" I have a stern voice. Anyone could tell I'm mad, even deaf people.
"I know your mad but Taya was just messing around. Maybe she got a bit carried away but then again what she did was pretty mean."
"Sometimes she is really annoying!" I whisper yell. (A/n remind you of anything Taya?)

"I know but you guys, you guys just got over a six month fight. Everyone can be a pain in the ass sometimes but you just have to get through it. Just remember nobody is perfect." He says into my ear. I rest my head on my shoulder next to his head and move up in line.

I get a large popcorn to share between Daniel and I and a hotdog and a coke. I don't know what everybody else got.
"Wait what are we seeing?!" I say as we sit down. We have tickets for the back middle. The best place.
"I think we are seeing the new Tarzan movie" Shawn says looking at the tickets.
"Oookkkkkk..." I say looking at the screen.
"It's rated m." Cam says.

"Ok, I'm not going to eat any food till the movie starts!" I say setting a goal. Everybody looks at me.
"Good luck with that!" They all say in unison.
The ads start. Ugh! I hate ads! I look over at everyone. Taya's cheek is grazed. Oops. I'm not going to say sorry though. She made me mad. I grab a small handful of popcorn and stuff it in my mouth. At the sound of the first crunch, everybody looks at me. They all crack up except for Taya. I think she's upset.

Then the lights dim and I start stuffing my face with popcorn. Daniel had to end up both of my hands really tight so there would be enough popcorn for him. When he lets go of my hands my hands are all sweaty so I wipe it on Shawn's sleeve who sits next to me.
"Dude! Ew!" He laughs in disgust. I laugh and he turns his head to watch the movie. Lol.

The movie Finishes. Finally. It was crap. I hated it but it kinda rude to. So I just pretend I'm happy and I liked it. Afterwards we play on pretty much all the console games. I won most of the multiplayer ones. It was great. Taya doesn't talk to me the whole time. She didn't even look at me. Oh well. I can live without her. See the thing is. The whole time we have been best friends, we have had so many fights it not funny. But eventually we get back together again.

We start walking back to the carpark. Down the elevators and stairs. We are in the middle of the carpark 30 feet away from the car when I notice Daniel isn't around. So I turn around to see a girl kissing him. Wait no, he's kissing her! ... I don't know what I feel. Mostly anger, but also heartbroken. I look back at the other guys who have noticed Daniel. Shawn and Cam have confused look on their face. One tear runs down my cheek and I look back at Daniel. They are still kissing.

I don't even know who she is! But what I know Daniel is kissing her back! I turn back around and start speed walking. I see Taya start to laugh. I really don't need this right now. Ugh I hate her! I thought she was my friend! I lift my fist and hit her face.

I break into a run. I run out of the car park and across the road. I don't stop running. Not looking back. I run and run. Farther then I've run before. I'm exhausted but I can't stop. I keep on running. I thought Daniel loved me. I loved him. I keep running.

I slow down and start to walk. Panting really loudly. My legs feel like collapsing. I feel like breaking into tears. My head pounds from all the running. My vision goes fuzzy and I fall.

I open my eyes. I'm at the bottom of the hill where Daniel broke up with me all those months ago. I look up to see the stars. How long have I been here. I grab my phone out of my pocket. It's smashed! Great. I attempt to turn it on and it works. I have 45 missed calls from Daniel, 12 missed calls from Skyla, 5 missed calls from Taya, 14 missed calls from Shawn and 6 missed calls from cam, and 19 missed calls from mum. Wow. Wait Daniel tried to call me 45 times!? Why would he want to talk to me. He loves someone else now.

I ignore all of them and look at the time. 8:56. We left the cinemas at 4 but I did run for half an hour. Then I hear a car pull up at the top of the hill. I hide in the overgrown grass. Then I see a black figure standing at the top of the hill.
"AMBER!!!" He yells. I realise it's Daniel but I don't move. I don't want to see him.
He gets back in his car and drives off. I relax.

I watch the stars for a while. They are pretty. I like stars. Eventually I get up and climb up the hill. My shoulder is really sore but I've got to get home. I slowly walk. It's really cold for a summer night. I walk inside and mum and dad run straight up to me.
"Oh my gosh! Where have you been!?" Mum yells I don't say anything but look down. She pulls me into her arms. I needed a hug.

"Let's talk about it..." She whispers gesturing to the couch. I go sit down and she sits next to me. I blurt it all out. She gives me a really tight hug.
"I'm so sorry Amber"
I burst into tears again. I loved him.
