Chapter 7: Warning

Karma's POV

Remembering what happened yesterday, I wanted to go straight to the hospital and see Nagisa.

"Let's just say that your times with her are... limited." Asano's voice echoed through my head again.

"Limited...?" What does he mean by that? Don't tell me Nagisa's gonna... No... I don't think he would have any reason to do that. He loves her, after all.

...Then what does he mean?

I walked into the elevator and quickly pressed on the number 4. Once I got there, I walked towards Nagisa's room. There were nurses and doctors walking in the hallways, going and doing their daily routine of their job.

There were also other people that were holding gifts like flowers. Unfortunately today I came empty handed, so I don't have anything for her. Well, I still brought my phone.

I slid the door open, and saw that Nagisa was asleep. "Oh? How rare of you to sleep when I visit."

She was sitting up, her head tilted to the side. Her opened sketchbook was still on her lap, with a pencil and eraser on it.

I walked in, trying to make minimum sounds as possible. I sat beside her bed, and looked at what she was drawing.

It was Hatsune Miku making a peace sign. I always said that she looked like Hatsune Miku, with her long blue pigtails and azure eyes. She always took it as a compliment, even though she did try to change her hairstyle a few times to make her not look like the Vocaloid.

I took the pencil that was starting to roll down that sketchbook and poked her forehead. "You're asleep." I smiled at her.

I decided to wait for her to wake up, since I didn't really want to disturb her sleep. Can't blame her though, being in a hospital all day must be freaking boring.

I closed her sketchbook and put it on the table along with her pencil and eraser.

After about 15 minutes, I saw her eyes open a bit. "Yo." I said.

She looked towards me and her eyes immediately widened, "K-Karma-kun! Why didn't you wake me up?" She asked.

"Didn't want to disturb you."

She frowned, "I feel bad to make you wait... Just wake me up next time."

"No, it's okay." I replied. "Plus, you looked cute while sleeping."

She blushed and became flustered, "H-huh!? U-um... Thanks?"

Crap, I said that out loud...

Then, I noticed a big bouquet of flowers on the end side table. "Who are those flowers from?" I asked.

She turned to the flowers, "Oh, that's from Asano-kun. He came the other day. It's strange though, we rarely even talk..."

Hearing Asano's name, I clenched my hands, "...Asano? He's been visiting you?"

She smiled, "Just once. He was really nice, too."

"...Nagisa, stay away from that guy."

"Huh...? Why?"

"Just... He's bad news... That guy is planning something. Something bad. And it deeply involves you." I said.

She looked confused, "W-what? What are you..."

"Nagisa," I looked at her straight in the eyes, "Trust me."

Her eyes widened a bit, and she finally said, "Okay. If you say it, Karma-kun... then I'll trust you."

I released a sigh of relief. But even though now she's gonna be careful around him, I'm sure that guy still has some tricks up his sleeves.

"Thank you, Karma-kun." She said, smiling.

"Huh?"

She continued, "I can tell that you've been worried about me. Karma-kun was thinking about me and came to tell me that, so I wanted to thank you."

I smiled, "Yeah, you're welcome."

So, I recently just finished watching Another. Am I the only one who really likes it? XD
