"Ready?" Niall asked, setting my duffel bag in the trunk of his car.

"Yepp." I smiled and we got in the car, pulling out of the parking lot.

He got onto the highway and I leaned back into the seat, tugging my knees to my chest. I sipped on my coffee and watched out the window, listening to some random song on the radio. Niall grabbed my hand across the center console and I couldn't help but smile to myself, trying to hide it. We drove for about an hour before getting off on an exit, going towards the woods. Niall eventually found the camping grounds and we paid, getting our assigned place that we could set our stuff up. He drove down the road while I gave him directions from the map that the man had given us.

"No, left." I giggled and Niall playfully groaned, turning around in the middle of the road. "Okay, go right up at the tree."

"You suck at directions." Niall snickered and I gasped, jokingly hitting his arm.

"Shut up." I laughed. "Okay, it's straight ahead at the end of the road."

I folded the map up and Niall parked, turning the car off. I got out and we opened the trunk, getting the tent out. We walked up the small hill to the flat area and I kicked rocks out of the way so Niall could put a tarp down. We pulled out the tent and started setting it up, failing miserably the first time. I was in a fit of laughter, along with Niall, and we finally got ourselves together, getting the tent up fine this time. I went down to the car to get the pallet mat, setting it down on the tarp.

I went and grabbed all the blankets, putting them down along with our pillows. Niall set our bags in the tent and we sat down on the make shift bed, me looking around. It was already seven o'clock so the sun was about to set. We decided to walk to the lake and sit on the dock for a while. We had picked up food on the way and took it with us, going through the woods to find a dock. Niall and I sat down and I took a bite from my hamburger, sighing in content.

"When I was researching this place, I found a really cool trail. We could hike tomorrow." Niall spoke up, swallowing whatever was in his mouth and I nodded.

"Yeah, sounds good." I smiled a little and grabbed a french fry, moving to sit with my legs crossed under my butt.

I looked and noticed that it was already ten o'clock. We had been out longer than I thought. We went back to the tent and zipped it up behind us. I turned on the lantern and changed out of my clothes quickly since it was so cold. I put on leggings and a hoodie, climbing into the bed. Niall slipped on a pair of grey sweatpants and kept his hoodie on, getting under the covers too. He tugged me closer since it was so cold and I curled up, trying to keep myself warm.

Niall laughed a little as I shivered and lifted me up to be on top of him, making me squeal in surprise. He linked his arms around my waist and bunched the covers up around us, warming me up instantly. I propped my chin up on his chest and Niall grabbed the hood on my sweatshirt, putting it over my head. He kissed me and laid back, squeezing me tight, before closing his eyes.

"You okay, Ni?" I asked and he jumped as I put a hand on his shoulder.

"What? Yeah. I'm totally fine." He smiled nervously and I cocked an eyebrow at his odd behavior.

I let it go, thinking that it was just cold and he was being stubborn. I told him to put on a jacket. We took a turn in the woods and after about thirty minutes of walking, we came to a clearing. It was a small cliff and you could see all the woods from where we were. I smiled at the sight and sat on a rock, taking a sip from my water. I held my jacket closer to my body and Niall sat down too, shaking his leg.
