Niall practically bounced in his seat as the cab driver went around the stadium, trying to find a place to park and let us out. He finally did and Niall paid him before jumping out of the car. I had no choice but to follow, trying to keep up with his quick pace. We stood in line and Niall grabbed my hand, standing on his tip toes to see how long the line was. I laughed and he smiled over at me, wrapping an arm around my shoulders. I stood on my toes to kiss him and Niall smiled against my lips.

We eventually got into the stadium and we set out to find the seats. They weren't the best, but all I could afford. Niall and I found our seats and sat down, watching the players warm up on the field. I smiled at how excited Niall was and he got his phone out to take a picture. Soon enough, the game started and I literally had no clue what was going on. I've never understood football.

"This is literally the best birthday present ever." He said, looking over at me.

"I've never seen you so excited." I laughed a bit and Niall grabbed my hand.

"My dad would be so jealous right now." Niall spoke up after a while and I looked over at him in question. "We always would watch the games on TV when I lived at home."

As the game went on, Niall tried to explain to me what was going on and I kind of got the hang of the rules and plays. Niall had someone take our picture and immediately sat it as his background. He did it, thinking I couldn't see, but I just smiled to myself and kept quiet. He sent me the picture and I saved it, shutting my phone off a moment later. I watched the game and it ended about an hour later.

We got up and Niall rambled about how good the game was and how much fun he had. We walked down the street to the hotel we had gotten and already put our bags in the room. Once in the hotel, we went to the elevator and once inside, Niall leaned on the wall and yawned, a sleepy look on his face. I rested my head on his shoulder and he kept an arm around me when we went up to the sixth floor. Once out of the elevator, Niall picked me up bridal style, making me laugh as he walked to the hotel room.

He struggled to get the key in the door and I finally had to do it, watching him laugh. We got into the room and Niall shut the white door with his foot, almost falling over. I gripped the back of his neck for dear life and Niall walked over to the bed, dropping me down and moving to hover above me. I smiled and wrapped my arms around the back of his neck, pulling him down to kiss me. Niall smirked against my lips and lowered himself to rest his body against mine.

"Great end to a great day." He mumbled against my lips and I smiled, running my fingers through his hair.

"I love you." I said quietly and Niall smiled.

"I love you, too."

"What's your favorite color?" Niall wondered and I shrugged, taking a bite of the hamburger in front of me.

"I don't really have one." I said and Niall cocked an eyebrow, having a few fries from his plate.

"C'mon, you have to have a favorite color." He said and I shook my head.

"Nope." I shrugged and pushed the fries around my plate. "What's yours?"

"Green."

Niall and I made mindless conversation as we ate. More like while he ate. I just pushed my food around the plate and took only a couple more bites, not really hungry. I knew that Niall noticed because he kept saying we should get desert. I declined his offer and he frowned, looking at my close to full plate. I ignored his stares and leaned back in the booth, taking sips from my cup of water. We paid the bill and left the restaurant, walking down the road towards the hotel.
