"Okay, let's do this." Niall smiled and squeezed my hand before we stepped into the house.

I interlocked our fingers as we walked inside and put my hood down since we were out of the rain. Niall shook his hair out and we both got the rain droplets off of our glasses. I looked around at the inside of the entry hallway and soon enough, there was the realtor greeting us. We thanked her and made our way through the first level of the house.

We walked into the living room and it wasn't took big or too small, just the right size for us. We went down the hall and there was one bedroom that was obviously the master because of it's size. There was a connected bathroom and the two other bedrooms upstairs had a jack and jill bathroom that put them together. I smiled in approval and Niall seemed to like it too because he was also smiling.

"What do you think about it?" Niall asked quietly as we walked back to the first floor, going to the kitchen.

"It's really nice." I replied and he nodded. "Do you like it?"

"I really like it." He emphasized the word really and I smiled a little, looking up at him.

"Are you two interested?" The realtor came in and we both nodded, making her smile. "Well, lucky for you, nobody had made any offers yet."

"What is the asking price?" I wondered and she pulled out a few papers, sliding them across the counter towards us.

"The owners would like six hundred thousand pounds but are willing to go negotiate." I nodded, thinking about it. That wasn't too bad to pay for a house this nice. "I can get them on the phone and tell them we have a couple looking at the house to see what their lowest will be."

I thanked her and Niall and I walked out to the backyard, walking around. It was big enough for the dogs to run around but not too big to where Niall would need a giant lawn mower. The realtor came back out and gave us a number with which Niall and I both thought was good and not too expensive. We both had stable jobs and more than great salaries so we wouldn't be in debt because of buying a house.

We left after giving the woman our phone numbers so she could call us in the next few days once the owners made a decision. Niall and I left hand in hand and went back to his car, climbing in out of the cold. It had stopped raining, but it was just cold now. We started driving towards the paint balling place and once there, we both climbed into the backseat to change into more comfortable clothes. I felt like we needed to look adult and presentable to look at the house.

I pulled on some leggings and a long sleeve black t-shirt, tugging one of Niall's hoodies over my head. I changed into combat boots and Niall cocked an eyebrow at me, making me laugh. I had to explain to him that Jake and I were very competitive when it came to paint ball. He gulped and nodded, looking terrified. We went inside and I noticed Jake and Caroline standing in the front, looking around.

"Boo!" I went up behind Jake and grabbed his torso, making him jump and turn around, his eyes wide. "Gotcha." I laughed and he rolled his eyes, pulling me into a hug.

"You ready to be defeated once and for all?" He joked and I shoved his shoulder, shaking my head.

"Uh uh." I laughed. "Caroline and I are gonna kick your all's asses."

"Wait, so he isn't gonna be the one shooting at me?" Niall asked and I shook my head. "Oh thank god." He breathed out and I laughed, walking next to him as we went to go get all of the gear.

We put on the pads and got helmets, getting plenty of silly pictures of all of us. We got the guns and Caroline and I chose blue paint balls, Niall and Jake picking green. We went out to the field and before we could start, I grabbed Jake and pulled him aside, pulling my helmet off so I could talk. Jake looked at me confused and I sighed.
