I was getting anxious I wanted nothing more than to get on that plane already and fly home. But I knew I needed to go out and talk with the fans. We had just finished with our set, I was happy with how exuberant they were tonight. I love seeing their excitement and falling in their trustworthy arms. I felt Dan place his hand on my back, I turned to look at him and he was smiling. He held his phone up for me to look at. He was showing me all the people tweeting saying “one week” I couldn’t help but smile.

“It seems everyone is excited with me.” I pointed out.

Maxx walked up, “Or their faking it.”

“Why would they fake it?” I asked, annoyed. Since I proposed all Maxx was doing was being a crab ass, because he finally would have to share his sister. Not like he wasn’t before, but he’d get less time with her. “Are you faking it?”

He smiled, “No, I’m happy for you bro!”

“Well we’ll actually be brothers, finally.” I replied, laughing.

I pushed my way pasted Maxx and walked over to the merch table. A number of girls crowded around as well as a few guys. I looked up at Andrew and he handed me a sharpie. I took pictured and signed whatever was handed to me. I wanted nothing more than to bolt for the van and bounce around waiting for the guys to finish packing up but I had fans to see and a tour to say goodbye too.

A fan walked up to me and I felt I knew her from somewhere. I focused hard on her appearance when it hit me, I’d seen her before. I couldn’t remember where I saw her, but I had. She smiled as she opened up her arms. I wrapped my arms tightly around her neck. I pulled away and looked her in the eyes as she talked to me. I’d give her a small response every once in a while and smile. Once she was finally done talking to me, I waved to everyone.

Many people groaned due to not being able to see me, but we did have a plane to catch. Even though the show wasn’t over we needed to get to airport as fast as possible. Andrew had accidently booked us an earlier flight than we thought, so we had to miss out on the last of the show.

Andrew tapped me on the shoulder, “Let’s go bud. Get in the van.”

“I’m on my way dude, just give me one sec.” I replied.

“What is so important that you won’t hurry up?” he asked.

I smiled as I pointed to my phone, “Calling Gabby, duh.”

He sighed, “Can’t we just go? Does she know your flying in tonight?”

“No, I guess not.” I replied.

“So let’s surprise her. I mean we can always have your sister pick us up; can’t we?” he asked yet another obvious question.

I sighed, “Alright, you win this time. Let’s go.”

Once we were packed we all filed into our vehicle and our driver started the very short drive to the airport. I was getting anxious knowing how close I’d be to Gabby in just a few hours. I knew she’d probably have minor heart attack when she heard the key hit the door to unlock it. But I didn’t care; I wanted nothing more than to hold her in my arms. I was sure she’d be sleeping when I’d get home, but I knew Dexter would bust me once the door opened.

“Let’s go, Cody!” Maxx yelled as he walked away.

        I laughed, “Oh, sorry.”
