dearest pain,
it's always you who calls my name in the middle of the night
you crawl beside me and hold me close all day
you've become inevitable, no matter how hard i try i never can leave your grasp
you follow me like shadow, a darkness around me
you're the rain to my thunder, the snow to my storm
a closest ally, one who never leaves
with pain there is no betrayal
i don't need anyone else beside you, my beloved pain
there isn't anyone else, anyway
