Well I know the gender of the baby and I'm sure Shane will call once he sees the video I sent. When I got home I saw his dad parked outside. I pulled up and cut the engine.
He was still sitting in his truck so I don't know if he saw me. I got out of the car and went inside the house. Doug came in and greeted me. I sat down in Shane's recliner and put my feet over the arm rest.
"So how long have you and Shane known you were going to have a baby?" He asked. "Why do you ask?" "Gail said she saw you this morning and you had a decent size baby bump. So I decided to come and check on you."
"Bout five months. Seven months next month." I told him. "So about July?" "Mid July." Then my phone rang. I picked it up and could tell he was in shock. He wanted a baby girl and I wanted a boy.
"Hey babe how's the rodeo?" "Wow a baby boy. What name did we decide on?" "Brody." "Middle name?" "James." "Have you told anyone?" He asked. "Your parents figured out today." I said kind of annoyed. "I guess you can tell them the gender and what we decided to name him." He said sounding defeated. "Love you!!" "Love you too! Can't wait to see you baby."
He hung up and left me with his dad sitting on the couch. "So have you found out the gender?" Doug asked. "Brody James Hanchey." I told him.
I'm guessing he picked up on the gender and nodded. "I wish you the best of luck on the rest of the pregnancy and a healthy baby born. If you don't mind I'll feed the animals every day and for a month after the baby is born."
"Thank you." I told him. He left and I fixed me lunch. Eating for two isn't that bad the cravings help with eating and I've been having plenty of cravings. He's barely kicking whiching I'm hoping is just him kicking and I can only feel it sometimes.
Knowing Doug he won't tell Gail the gender but will tell the rest before she finds out the gender. I ate until I was full then went out to the barn to see the horses. They were grazing in the paddock as I approached the barn.
When they saw me they ran over to the fence whinnying with high tails and ears forward. I gave them each a treat and pet them.
Two at a time sniffed my belly and tried to rub against it. Once I was done seeing the horses I went into the barn and saw those horses. I'm still spoiling them while my husband is on the road.
He knows I do and doesn't care. Once I was done in the barn I went into the house and took a nap. Gage laid his head on my lap while he laid against my legs.

Another month gone and I'm bigger than an elephant. "Grace your not that big." Shane told me through FaceTime. "I'm huge! How could you do this to me." I started to cry. He hung up I knew he was in the truck but I didn't know where.
I went into the bedroom and laid on my side. The front door closed and feet running sounded through the house. Next thing I knew two arms were around me. "Grace your still beautiful no matter how big your stomach gets, how much weight you gain, how tear stained your face gets, you'll always be beautiful in my eyes.
"Your doing just fine. I love you so much baby girl and I can't wait for our son to come into this world." He kissed my cheek and held his arms under my enlarged belly. I rolled over and he let me rest the baby bump on him.
One hand caressed the globe under my shirt and the other held me close. He kissed my forehead then pulled my legs over his. Two more months to go and my emotions are getting the best of me.
He fixed me supper and brought it to me as I laid on the couch. Then he picked me up and took me to the bathroom. I let him take the clothes off my body and he stuck his hands under my belly. He held it knowing there was something special within it.
He kissed my neck up to my lips as he took his clothes off. Quickly he ran a bath and helped me in. I let him wash my body as I leaned into his embrace.
"Your so beautiful. I can't wait for our bundle of joy to arrive." He told me. "Sleepless nights." "Don't care. As long as your my wife and we both love each other." He kissed me again and leaned me forward to get my back.
Once he was done he leaned me back and held me close as he trailed kisses from my temple down to my collarbone. He knew exactly how to make me feel better and how to take care of me.
