I sat in the front seat of his truck as we went down the highway to Sulphur. It was the 23rd of December and we were on our way to his house. He lived by himself in a one story house on a hundred acres.
When we pulled up he made me wait as he got my crutches and helped me out. Yesterday I got a new cast put on and now it's gray instead of harvest orange. I already saran wrapped it so it's also shiny. The doctor asked why I did and I told him to keep water and dirt from getting on the cast.
When he pulled the wrap off he told me it was the cleanest cast he's seen in a long time. Shane was on his way back from Florida at the time so I went by myself just to surprise him.
I love that he cares about me, it's just sometimes it feels like he's babying me. Not that I blame him. I'm another living being that came into his life and he knows to take care of me, almost as an instinct.
He opened the door to his house and let me in. I went into the living room and admired the buckles on the mantle. Then I went into the kitchen. It had stainless steel appliances and granite countertops.
The cabinets were a cherry oak color matching the dark granite. The floor was tile that looked like hardwood floors. It continued all throughout the house. He let me sleep in his room and the bed was king size.
The master bathroom had double sinks and a separate shower and tub. The cherry oak continued in it as did the granite. I went back into the living room and sat down on the couch. He sat down next to me and put his arm around me.
"So where are we living after we get married? My place or yours?" "Which is bigger?" I asked. He smirked and kissed my forehead. "Then you better get packing once you can walk on that ankle of yours." I kissed him and he kissed me back.
After supper I got a bath in his bathroom and went into his room with a towel wrapped around me. I found his tee shirt drawer and pulled one out. I put my underwear on then the shirt.
He came in and went into the bathroom. I climbed into bed and curled up under the covers. He joined me a few minutes later and pulled me close to his body. I rolled over and put my legs over his. He pulled me closer and nestled his head in the crook of my neck.

I woke up to an empty bed and the smell of breakfast. I got the crutches and went to the kitchen. There standing over the stove shirtless was Shane.
I went over to him and wrapped my arms around his waist. "Morning sugar. Sleep well?" "Always with you babe." I told him leaning on his back. He turned around and leaned on the stove. His arms went around me and he kissed the top of my head.
I hopped up on the island and watched him cook. When he was done he fixed me a plate and helped me down. I went over to the bar and sat down as he carried two plates. He forgot something and went over to the fridge.
I couldn't help but stare at his butt. Lawd dat a**. He came back with a jar and sat it in between us. I tried some and it was good. After breakfast I got dressed, yay I can wear jeans with this cast. I put a shirt on and went back in the living room and plopped onto the couch.
Thirty minutes later his family showed up. He welcomed them in and when they saw me they smiled. Shane sat next to me, more like put me on his lap and kissed my neck.
"How long have you two been engaged?" His grandmother asked. "About a month gamma." He told the elderly woman. "Well when are you going to get married?" His grandfather asked.
"In June." He told the elderly man. "Shane did you leave a burner on?" I asked. He jumped up and ran into the kitchen. Dat a** again. He can run faster than I can right now.
He came back and sat me back in his lap. "Thanks sugar. The house would have burned down. Then where would we have lived?" He asked. "My place." I told him.
He fakely rolled his eyes at me and kissed me. I let his family members see the ring and we opened gifts. His parents got us some things for traveling that shouldn't be mention. I got Shane a new pair of boots and a new Stetson.
He got me a new belt for my buckles and a set of spurs that had his last name on them. He showed me the matching pair. On the other side of mine it said missus and on his it said mister. "Aw mister and missus spurs." He mom said.
After everyone left he gave me a wrapped present. I opened it an it was a set of underwear from adore me. "Would you model those for me tonight?" He asked. I set them down and he picked me up so I could kiss him.
"Why not?" I asked. He set me down and I went to get a bath. When I was done I put the garments on and put one of his button up shirts on. I got into bed and a few minutes later he joined me.
He had fun loving on me until we both cuddled up together and fell asleep. Not pregnant or a non virgin yet.
