I jumped out of the truck and ran for the entrance. "Grace!" I looked back and giggled. I can run and jog now so it'll help. My ankle getting worked on made me a little bit slower than I used to be.
But I made up for it in a quicker tie. I reached the entrance just as Shane grabbed me. I laughed as his hands moved over my ticklish spots.
"Oh someone's ticklish? Let me fix that." He said tickling me more. "Sha Shane." "Yes baby girl?" He said while I was still laughing.
"Please... Stop." I continued to laugh. He kissed me then stopped but spun me around and kissed me better. "Better?" "Much." I told him. He kissed me again and opened the door.
I walked in and he followed me. He clasped my left hand and we walked over to sign in. Our stalls were right next to each other so that was a great thing.
We talked for a bit and the girls wanted to see the ring. "So how much longer until your last name is changed?" Chayni asked. "Three, we're getting married in Pecos before the rodeo." I told them.
"That's cool is your family helping?" Lisa asked. "Yes there going there while me and Shane are in Springdale. Also it's not black tie affair so you can wear your boots." I tell them.
"Even if you wear a white pearl snap and wranglers with a bouquet of flowers, you'll still be the bride." Brittany said. "Thanks, but I've already got a dress picked out." I tell them. "I'm going to unload the horses so they can stretch their legs."
I left and went to the truck. I got in and was greeted by my dog. I backed the trailer up to the stalls and got out. If Shane knew I backed his truck up I wouldn't hear the end of it. I put the electric leash on Gage and turned the module on.
He jumped out and went over to the side to use the bathroom. I opened the trailer and started unloading the horses. Reata and Si are the ones he's using and he let me use Cory.
Shane came over as I was putting Reata in his stall. He got Si and put him in our last stall. "You did not back my truck up." He said smirking, man how I love it when he smirks.
"Maybe I did." I said before he kissed me. He picked me up bridal style and carried me to the truck. He whistled for Gage and opened the door. Gage jumped in and Shane got in with me on his lap and drove to our parking space.
I kissed him multiple times as he parked. "Please Grace I'm parking." I gave him a pouty face and continued to kiss him. He stopped and put the truck in park.

"Your so much trouble." Shane said as he laid his forehead on mine. We were on the couch, all the curtains closed and in our underwear. I decided to wear the set that he got me for Christmas and he was close to taking it off.
"And who started it?" I asked. "You. You started it when you wouldn't stop kissing me." He told me before kissing me again. Knocking made us jump. He slid me off his lap and put a pair of jeans on.
I put his shirt on and stood behind him. There was my ex boyfriend. "What do you want?" Shane asked. "May I talk to Grace?"
"I don't want to talk to you." I told him. Before he could say another word I slammed the door in his face. I turned around to face Shane. I wrapped my arms around his waist and laid my head on his chest.
Shane's POV She slammed the door closed and laid her head on my chest. I wrapped her in my arms and set my chin on top of her head. She's so fragile some days and others she's tougher than I am.
I picked her up and carried her to the couch. We both need to rest for tonight and she's already falling asleep in my hold.

Grace's POV I got up off the couch after taking a nap and got a shower. The bathroom door opened and Shane stepped in. He went over to the toilet and sat down on it with the lid closed.
"Grace. What are we going to do when we decide to start a family?" I stopped the shower and wrapped a towel around my body. I stepped out and went over to him. "Shane. We'll do what's best for our family." I told him sitting on his lap. I put my arms around his neck and looked at him.
"Then what?" "I'll stay home with the children and visit you during the season." "But I don't want to leave you by yourself." He told me. "I've got your parents, my dad, my brother and the rest of our relatives. I'll be fine and you know your parents will check on me." I said kissing him.
He looked in my eyes. "Are you sure?" "Of course babe. Otherwise I would be traveling with you." I told him. He smiled softly and kissed me. "Then will you please stay with me for the first event?"
"Of course I will." I told him and kissed his lips again. Tomorrow we're getting married and we're leaving tonight right after the rodeo. They were doing the awards right after each event and we were leaving right after our events.
"I'll drive the first five hours then we'll switch. I'll let you sleep baby so you can drive." Shane told me. The wedding is at nine tomorrow morning so we have about an hour to sleep. The girls were leaving right after barrel racing to get there. They decided to travel in pairs so they won't be so tired.
