POV Ty

I awoke to the sun that was shining through my room’s curtains and into my eyes. This is why I hate the sun, it taunts you saying “Wakey wakey up up!!” I swear the sun is out to get me. As I sat up in my bed while cursing the sun, I slowly started to take in my surroundings.

The room had bleach white walls with a few posters of mine craft mobs and the like. A black stained wooden desk sat in the corner of the room that was next to the window and held my computer, recording equipment, and my favorite headphones.  Next to that was my dresser that held most of my everyday clothing. Directly across from that and on the other side of my bed was the closet. I mainly used that for storage, but at the moment there is nothing in it. Actually, there was barely anything in my room.

You see, just recently, I moved to an apartment complex that is near the new collage that I will be going to. The last collage I went to, Epic Jump Community College, closed down, because not many people went to it. So, Epic Jump transferred each student to any school, of their choosing, that allowed late transfers. Some students ended up in different local collages, but I choose to go to Shining University. In fact, Shining offered me a scholarship because they thought I would do well in video editing and animations. This was perfect because it had been my dream to animate for movies and games, so I jumped onto the opportunity.

Now I have an apartment that is paid by the University, classes that are also paid for and free access to any animation programs that I can get my hands on. I feel as though my luck or good karma was saved up just for this moment in life. Maybe I would even get a girlfriend! I could finally look forwards into the future and enjoy my school life without all the drama, dumb teachers, and annoying people who don’t leave you alone. Yep, I couldn’t have been more wrong in my life…
