What started out as a hobby turned into a personal quest to uncover peculiars and abilities, as well as the stories that come with them. Within this book, you'll find many years worth of research that led me to marshy swamps, vast deserts, rocky mountains, and, in some cases, a simple suburban neighbourhood - all locations hidden behind loops of ymbrynes (both abandoned and with residence). With that in mind, many of these peculiars were rather difficult to track, and more times than not, didn't want to be interviewed. This led to discrete investigations of a peculiar's territory where I would monitor their behaviour. However, the vast majority of peculiars were quite friendly, and were happy to assist me in my research.
The Peculiar Archives had always been a personal obligation for me to follow suite and complete. Whenever I felt undignified, discouraged, or even unable to continue with my research, the thought of the completion of my book was set in stone in my mind. And so, it is with great pride and joy do I present to you my findings of such peculiars that I'd discovered over my years.
At the mention of these findings, much of it is described through the unique stories and uses behind each peculiar and their ability. Though some may have the same ability, often it is used in their own way. And so, despite a hefty repetition of peculiarities I had found, each is unique to their peculiar for which they belong to.
