CHAPTER 21: Cold Room
Her big escorts grabbed me— one's hand covered my breathing with a handkerchief. I fell asleep.
I woke up, sitting and noticed a tight rope bound my arms behind the chair, also tied around my ankle and torso and I couldn’t do a motion since the blood were congealing. I had duct-tape around from my mouth to the back of my head. I didn’t know how long I had been here.
Darkness approached my bleary eyes and coldness embraced my fevered skin, but there were small lights on every corner that illuminated the empty room. I couldn't shout, the tape was so tight. This was her surprise if my thoughts were right.
I wasn't sure if I was kidnapped, but she was my sister and I brought myself here in the first place. I had been thinking if Dr. Rufus had something to do with this either. I weakly shook my head, thinking about him and wishing he could at least save me from his evil wife if he really was on my side.
Not for long, Snow came in, wearing her elegant and lustrous black gown, molding her defined hips and torso down to the skirt lining above her knees and a black transparent princess gloves. Her Veronica hairstyle and devious eyes dazzled me, glanced me away, but then I noticed her two henchmen, wearing a formal tuxedo outfit, having strap of pistols in both sides of their waist. She fashionably walked in front of me while the two men guarded the door.
I stared at her smirking face. “Friz Friz Friz, you are so stupid. You know that?” She clapped thrice.
“But it was a very good choice. I knew it. You don't want your village and daughter to get involved.” She walked slowly behind me.
“Thank you for surrendering yourself to me, big brother,” she whispered me from behind.
I threw my head back to hit her but she quickly evaded and stepped back. I was mad at her ever since we were young, but this time she was unforgiving.
She minced in front and slapped me. “You know you should be dead.”
“You've been dead already,” she said with envious face. My heart was pounding and lungs were releasing more air through my nose. It was a cold room but I was in constant perspiration.
She shifted my cheek with her right hand and gave a stare eye to eye. “I’m here to help you,” she said then nudged her hand off from my cheek.
I kept staring at her while she was making footsteps in front of me. “Tsk tsk tsk. Hey let me entertain you first.”
“I have powers now. See that...” She raised her right palm, curling fingers, and swirling her hands. A ball of light like a magical wisp glowing on and off over her palms. All I thought was Crystal wasn’t able to do a supernatural power like that.
“Don't worry… I won't kill you with this…” She flourished her hands forming a small fire sphere. “…or this,” cycling her hands to the right, a blue icy sphere had aroused in my naive sight. “…and this.” she waved and lavished a wind that discharged a freezing air to my face.
She snapped her powers off and glared at me. “I’ll kill you with my mind.” She made an evil laugh.
“Aren't you happy that you're going to die for real and be with our father?”
“Or our mother perhaps…” She giggled. “You know you're the reason why she killed herself!”
“But I considered gratitude... I had everything from them, because there's no you...”
Her chuckling was like bee stings in my ear, but I let her said whatever she wanted. I was in a hopeless state, thinking about the powers she had. I couldn’t believe there was a way to obtain such evil fantasy. I felt bad for my mom. I guessed I could add another reason to blame myself. “I deserved to die.” I said to myself without even thinking the people who cared and loved me.
