Dom's p.o.v

As soon as I stepped my foot back into my house I was bombarded with questions by the elders. "So, is she?", "What happened?", "You smell like her", "Does she know anything?". I let out a growl telling them to calm down as I made my way to the living room, I could tell they were following without me looking. No one would disrespect me here. Taking the one person recliner near the fireplace I faced them as they took the sofas around me, all waiting for me to talk patiently. "I met up with Jack Clark and he took me to her house to see her. Is there anything in the book about fire walkers?" I asked to Drew, the elder which kept records of everything there is to know about mutations in human genes and genetics. The only way I could describe the beautiful creature is a fire walkers. He shook his head looking interested. "Well when we got there, she had just got out of the shower. I could feel this energy running over her and before my eyes she lit herself ablaze" I said waiting for them to respond. Some looked shocked, others deep in thought including Drew. His eyebrows scrunched as he tried to think but eventually came up blank. "When confronted she doesn't know anything about it, she just said she was born like it" I carried on. "Are her parents like her?" Drew asked probably thinking the same thing I did, it must be in her genes passed on from her parents, but she said they're not. They're just plain old humans. I shook my head in reply watching his frown deepen. "She showed me how it feels after my permission. She took hold of my hands and I could feel it coming up to the surface in me before a flame ignited on our hands. This left as soon as we broke contact and I was drained of energy as well as out of breath" I said watching their shocked expressions. I don't blame them, I could still feel the power from her hands on mine even now.

"Is she a wolf?" Pam asked, pushing her glasses up her nose slightly. "I used my wolf to call to hers and it did come out. It wasn't happy, but it's there. It said that its always been there with her, just waiting for her to unlock it" I mumbled. That part unnerved me. What did it mean to be unlocked? If you're born with a wolf it will always be there. You won't get to shift until coming of age, but you'll know it's there. "It must be a bloodline wolf..." Drew muttered deep in thought. "But that's impossible, the bloodlines were abolished. For good reason too" Pam said shocked. We all know what happened when the bloodlines got too strong. They were something to be feared. Especially when most wolfs were, now not so much. But whatever that fire is in her, I'm sure the wolf knows what it is. "Jack didn't know she was his mate until she transformed. Is that correct?" Drew asked curious. I nodded. That was usual though, it had to be the wolves calling each other. "When her wolf takes over, does she remember anything?" Drew asked. "No, she said she blacks out and I've seen her after her wolf takes over. It's not pretty" I replied shaking my head. Now that was something strange. Maybe it is because she's not full wolf or because she fights it so much. "I'm going to go look through the books" Drew muttered getting up. The rest soon followed leaving me alone clutching her book. Maybe just another page wouldn't hurt.

Today is the first day on my own. After leaving my parents in England I can't help but feel alone. The flight was long to America but it was a well needed think. I lost it again. I know I shouldn't of but I couldn't help it. Lucky no one was hurt this time, but people knew. Eric knew. I had to get away from him. His eyes... His eyes turned black. Almost like an animals. I was so scared, but I told my parents. They told me to leave. They said they can't do it anymore. They said they like where they are and they're too old to carry on going. I slept the night at Alexander's before booking a flight to America. The hotel room is nice, but I'm afraid to sleep. What if I set this place ablaze? So many people would be hurt. I just need to find somewhere quiet. Looking at houses I think I've found the perfect one. It's out of the way, a school isn't far and neither are shops and its surrounded by forest meaning if anything did happen I'd be away from anyone I could hurt. I just hope this turns out okay. I'm running out of places to hide.
