Part 12

Still Hayley's p.o.v:

"So whats your name?" I asked the boy with amazing emerald eyes I am following quietly. "Ash Tubbs" He said in a casual voice. I nodded and said "Nice to meet you Ash" with a friendly smile. He looked at me with a raised eyebrow and said "You are different! I didn't thing you would be...". I stopped in my tracks just in front of the canteen and said "What do you mean?" in a slightly demanding tone. "Here's the canteen...I should go" Ash said quickly and tried to leave, but I struck out an arm and stopped him saying "What do you mean!?!" Through clenched teeth. He hesitated then said quietly "I just thought you would be like the other gorgeous girls here...you know...kind of mean and bitchy...". I looked at him like he was crazy, but dropped my arm letting him run back the way we had just came from. Are most of the girls here that bad?.

Spencer's p.o.v:

I watched from my table Hayley and Ash talking and walking until she stopped dead in her tracks and what looked like she was having a go at him!. I burst out laughing when I saw him practically run away when Hayley let him go. She slowly composed herself and made her way in with an emotionless face. I could already tell that she was meant to be with me and my group of friends and not just from the way she looked, but her personallity. I felt strangly drawn to her like I have a secret connection drawing me in with everything it has. But the strangest thing is that I don't mind. I like it. I think I am in love with a girl I have only met a few hours ago.

Hayley's p.o.v:

I tried to not let Ash's words dampen my mood as I made my way to Spencer and his friends all sitting talking about something I couldn't catch. Spencer gave me a small wave and ushered me into a seat inbetween him and Will what I gladly sat in and pulled out my salad from my bag. "You're really going to eat that?" Will whispered into my ear. I turned to look at his french fries and popcorn chicken with hungry eyes then back to my salad with a slight glare. Will chuckled and pushed his plate infront of me and disappeared into the lunch line. I smiled and happily took a fry to start munching on. Today couldn't get any better if I wanted it to.
