Hayley's P.O.V

It felt like hours before I managed to calm down enough to sit on the cool grass and take a moment to relax. I stared down at the broken phone in my hand and growled in frustration. What the hell am I going to do now? for all I know it was Eric that phoned and he's already on his way here all because that stupid jerk!. I could feel my body temperature rising again and got back up this time heading towards the sports block, maybe they have a gym or something there?. Damn my stubborn self not taking the offer coach talked about with shadowing jerk face so I know where everything is. I saw some stairs to the left through a window in another thick wooden door and decided to go up them. Funny how I never knew there was another level to the sports area. Once I jogged up the steps there was 4 doors labeled, the first door said dance studio 1, the second was a second dance studio and the third door said gym.

Out of curiosity I walked to the last door hearing loud noises coming from it. Peaking through the little window I saw that guy who invited me to his party tonight after the pep rally, called something like Matt or Max, stood in there holding a punchbag as still as he could while another male you couldn't see his face pounded away at the bag. His muscles ripped every punch he took making me stare in awe. The bag rocked every time the gloved hand collided with it making a loud banging sound. I watched leaning against the door as the guy carried on punching and punching then I caught the guy holding the bags eye. Busted! I quickly ran toward the gym throwing open the door but not shutting it as I heard a voice coming from the corridor. "I swear she was out here staring through the window!" the voice I vaguely recognised from yesterday said almost confused. "Maybe she's in the gym?" the voice said again. The sounds of 2 sets of feet walking towards me made me panic and quietly shut the gym door and hide behind the water cooler.

My heart was pumping wildly as I took steady breaths hearing the door open the two people enter. I so don't want to be known as the girl caught perving on people while they work out! that's so not cool!. "She's not in here Max" I heard Jack say. Oh no! it was Jack I was perving on! Shit, shit, shit! "No idea then..." Max said, his voice drifting off at the end sounding generally really confused. "Just going to get some water then will carry on...okay? will meet you back in the room" Jack said, his voice coming closer and closer. I heard the door open and footsteps leave before the door closed and I knew Max had left. Wait... he's coming to here! Shit! "Hayley? What the hell are you doing down there for?" Jacks voice said from above me. Oops.

"I was erm...going to use the treadmill and erm...came to get water then my erm...laces needed doing up so sat down to do them?" I said looking up with a small smile. I watched as Jack smiled shaking his head before holding out a hand for me to take which I accepted and let him lift me back up. Tingles shot between our touching skin making me quickly let go of him and stare down at his hand trying to see one of those electric buzzers or something like that on it, but there wasn't. "How are you doing that?" I demanded holding the hand his touched with the other away from him almost defensively. "Doing what?" He asked, eyebrows borrowed together. "That annoying tingling thing" I said looking up to his hazel eyes searching for answers. Something twinkled in them like recognition but he didn't say anything. I broke contact feeling awkward under his gaze and glaced down and noticing the fact he was only in a pair of shorts! I quickly covered my eyes and demanded "Why aren't you wearing any clothes!?" trying to move around him but not touching or looking at him what ended with me hitting my shin painfully on something stupidly low to the ground.

"Well I was working out before I noticed you 'tying your shoe laces' next to the water cooler" he muttered. I blushed remembering admiring him throwing punch after punch to the punchbag. "Oh" was all I could say as he turned to the cooler and started to poor himself a cup what gave me a little bit of time to admire his body before he turned back around luckily not catching me. "If it makes you uncomfortable I can go grab my shirt if you promise to not run away?" he said staring down at me looking like he was checking that I wasn't going to go anywhere. I nodded in response making him rush off back through the door, probably to get his clothes from the room with the punchbag in. I looked around the big gym admiring the view of town out of the probably tinted windows and found a nice seat to half lay half sit on with weights around it. The gym door opened and a smiling Jack walked in now wearing his shirt from earlier and shorts. "Better?" he asked even doing a spin with his hands up making me laugh at how stupid he looked doing that. "Yes, much better thanks" I chuckled watching him take the seat next to me, probably for spotters.

"Look, Hayley I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to piss you off earlier...I just took it out of hand and I am really sorry about it. If you drop by the house later I'll have a new phone there for you as a replacement. Just please don't be angry with me, I can't stand it" Jack said after a moments silence. I looked into his pleading and guilty eyes and knew I couldn't be angry at him as much as I was before I'm not now and I can't have him feel this guilty without cause. "It's alright...just please don't go on my phone again" I said touching his hand to get him to look up at me again after he stared at the floor waiting for an answer. Tingles shot through my fingers making me pull my hand away and stare at it in wonder. "Thank you and I promise I won't" he said putting his hand on top of mine sending tingles again, but stronger. I stared down at them confused as to what was going on. I've never felt tingles when touching someone before...is this new as well?

Wills P.O.V

"I've got her stuff like you asked" I said handing it to Max stood by the lockers. He nodded and was about to disappear before I darted in front of him. "Now I've done you a favour how about you tell me what's happened to Hayley and why I have had to collect her things from the canteen?" I demanded staring down Max as he tried to go past me. "Why don't you ask her when you see her next and stop trying to grill me" came Max's grunted reply before he shoved past me heading around to ICT. I felt my phone go off and took it out my pocket seeing a text from Spencer 'Hey, you out of lesson yet? Thinking we could go out front and chill?'. I quickly text him back saying I'll meet him at usual place and strolled right through the doors and out to the front. Worry for Hayley soon took over my thoughts as I took out of cigarette and sparked it. It seems really odd that Max messaged him asking me to collect her things then was very late meeting me and getting them. I wonder what happened...I hope she's okay. If she's not then I am going to kill who ever hurt her because that's just not right!.

"Hey, you got a spare? I'm out till tonight and Mr Sammy just drove me crazy the past 2 hours" Spencer said bringing me out of my thoughts. "Yeah of course" I mumbled getting the packet of Mayfair out and passing him one and my lighter. "Cheers" he said blowing it out. I took a long drag crushing the end out and laying back on the grass. "What's got you so quiet? You've normally cracked at least 3 jokes or been on a rant about something by now" Spencer said before taking another big drag obviously needing it. I looked over at him trying to decide if it's a big enough thing to tell him about me having to collect Hayley's things from the canteen. "You seen Hayley since this morning?" I asked trying to be as discrete as possible. He frowned looking as if he was really trying to think then shook his head. Is that strange?. "No, have you?" he asked curiously. "Last time I saw her was in French, but she left 10 minutes in to go cheerleading" I said remembering Miss Smirkrun letting her and a few others go. "Strange..." he said getting out his phone.

For the rest of the time we relaxed on the grass slowly getting everyone joining us. Calun and Zac talking girls like usual and Zac had both headphones in listening to club music full blast while crazily drawing away at his sketchbook but something didn't feel right. I pulled out another cigarette and lit it taking a few drags before I spotted Molly staring over. As usual a minute later my phone went off with a text from Molly telling me she needs to talk and to come over. I got up slowly and made my way over smoking as much as I could before having to ditch it to talk to her. "Hey Will sorry to interup, but do you know where Hayley is? Only an hour till practice and no one has seen her recently" she said sounding worried. I scratched the back of my head saying "No I haven't, sorry, but try Max he got me to get her things from canteen earlier so he probably knows where she is...". "Okay, cheers Will" she said with a smile before heading back through into school leaving me to walk back and relax back on the grass and try not let me thoughts get too caught up im Hayley, I'm sure she's fine.
