I'm not sure why it's sideways???? But this is a photo taken of my great-grandmother, Elsie Romano (later Brooks) before she graduated high school. She was born December 21st, 1923 and died January 13th, 2015 at 91. So if I'm doing the math right, she would've graduated at 18 in May or June of 1942!

These are my grandfather and his sisters. My grandpa (born August 14th, 1948) was the oldest so, from oldest to youngest: William ("Bill") Brooks Jr., Katherine ("Kathy") Brooks, Jackeline ("Jacky") Brooks, Leslie Brooks, and Deborah ("Debby") Brooks.

(Like Davy Jones and Micky Dolenz, my aunts spell their nicknames with a "y" at the end. No "ey" or "ie" except for Leslie).
