We took various pictures outside in the gardens with Alexa while the guys took pictures with Ricky. We would meet after the ceremony for more pictures. We gathered by the back door to head out for the ceremony. I took a deep breath grabbing ahold of Jake's arm before we headed out into the crowd of flashing lights. We stood by the altar waiting for Alexa to emerge from the doors. Alas she appeared and the string quartet began.

Alexa looked radiant in her dress she had designed. It was unique. It was her. It had a pink sweetheart top with flowers along the bodice and a white princess ball gown bottom.

There was a slight feeling of jealousy seeing another friend walk down the aisle. I looked down at my ring. Sure I was married, but only accidentally and I couldn't even remember my wedding. I looked up locking eyes with Jake. He looked at me confused like if he was trying to figure out what I was thinking. I looked away trying to focus my attention on the ceremony. The ceremony ended with a shower of pink rose petals and bubbles. The guests headed towards the reception area which would be in the gardens. I had to stay along with the rest of the gang to take the rest of the pictures. The sun was setting creating a beautiful back drop for their pictures.

We headed to the reception area where we were announced by the DJ. We sat at a long headtable with Ricky and Alexa in the middle.

I picked my salad moving the pieces of lettuce around in circles.

"You've been quiet all day. Are you ok?"

"I'm fine," I lied. "Just tired."

"We should dance. It seems like something the press would like."

"You know I hate dancing," I grumbled.

"Not at Melanie's wedding you didn't," he remarked.

I blushed, "You wanna dance, then let's dance."

I took his hand and lead him to the dancefloor. They played an upbeat song that had me moving to the beats. Jake grabbed my hips forcefully havin me practically grind against him. I turned around jumping up and down with my hands in the air. I felt so alive on the dance floor. I giggled in his arms feeling this adrenaline rush or maybe I was just tipsy from the champagne. The song ended and I was exhausted. I excused myself needing a breather. I walked to the pond sitting down by the edge. I calmed my breathing unaware of the footsteps approaching.

"Autumn? Is that you?" I looked up to see

Henry.

"Henry!" I greeted hugging him. "It appears we always meet at weddings."

"Not your wedding," he frowned.

"I'm sorry it was a rush of a moment thing."

"I understand. So how are you holding up?"

"What are you talking about?"

Melanie interrupted our conversation.

"Hey guys sorry for interrupting, but Autumn can you watch Marco while I go change Lucy's diaper?"

Before I could respond she had shoved Marco into my arms. I hadn't seen Marco in months. He was so big.

"Marco," I cooed hugging him to my chest.

He played with my hair giggling.

I looked up at Henry who was giving me a sympathetic look. It hit me. The feeling of being a mother. I would never get to experience this. My eyes welled up with tears. Today it was a year since my baby died and here I was hugging a baby that wasn't even mine.

Henry took Marco from me as Melanie came back.

"Thank you so much guys. We better hurry Autumn they're about to cut the cake."
