* * * Jake's POV* * *

What was I supposed to say to the woman that I once loved and still somehow loved. The pleading look in her eyes of hope.

She was nearly choking the stuffed bear to death.

"I'll think about it, Fall." That was the only answer I could give her at the moment. My head and heart wanted two different things. My head flashed red lights warned me that all the evidence proved she had killed Allison, but my heart didn't believe it. It trusted Autumn and believed she wasn't capable of such a cruel action.

She nodded slowly putting the bear down. She got up and walked back to her bed packing her clothes.

After a few minutes of awkward silence she turned on the t.v. where there was a celebrity gossip show.

"Well, folks, the Brandenburgs have just launched their Spring Collection Campaign, but we are all shocked as to why Autumn Williams isn't on the cover. Questions have arised as to where she's been and what happened to her and Jake Williams. The couple only lasted six months and now he's been seen with his own company's model Scarlett."

Autumn switched off the t.v. grabbing her cell phone.

I watched as she waited for the person to answer biting her lip anxiously.

"Henry, I need you to schedule a press conference as soon as possible," she said into the phone as she went into the bathroom shutting the door behind her.

I crept to the door listening from the other side.

"I can't stand that everytime I turn on the t.v. they're talking about Jake and I. I just want to get the press of my back and reveal my pregnancy."

There was a pause.

"I'm sure. I just won't tell them about my condition. I don't want them making a big deal about it. I only want a few people to know, but not Jake."

Another pause.

"What do you mean you told Jake? Henry how could you? You didn't even ask me before! I can't believe you would do this to me. I don't care how mad you were." I heard her sigh. "As much as I want to blame Jake like you, I don't. Without him I wouldn't be having this baby. Things just happen because they do Henry. Neither one of us can control that. Don't worry I'm not mad, he would find out sooner or later. I don't think he cares anyway. I talked to my lawyer, and she said she would send him the divorce papers as soon as possible, and the private investigator will be here tomorrow before I leave. I'll talk to you later, love you."

Just the sound of her telling Henry she loved him made my blood boil. I couldn't shake my feelings for her. Knowing that was the end of the call I quietly walked back to the place where I had placed the things into the boxes.

I clenched my teeth hoping I didn't look upset.

It was for a few minutes before she came back out.

"Everything alright?" I asked trying to seem concerned.

"What? Oh, yeah, everything's fine I just needed to tell Henry some things. Did you pack everything?"

"Yeah, it's all in the box. Did ya need anything else?" I asked.

"Um...no that's fine," she said stifling a yawn.

"You should get to bed missy, you've worked too hard today," I ordered watching as her eyes got droopy.

" You're right. Thanks for all your help. I really appreciate it," she said sincerely with a small smile.

"I best be goin, I'll see you soon," I nodded my head before leaving.

"Wait, Robin, can you please think about what I said?" she pleaded.
