Shadows to Stages

Dear diary,

Today is the day. It's finals and we are in it! I'm so happy and excited and nervous, all at once. I really hope we win. It would be a great end to my trip in L.A.

I decided to go hangout with the entire team just before awards. I hope we can pull through a lot of wins for the team. We were walking through L.A and it was so much fun. We went into the park where we had the dance battle. It's so crazy to think that was the first moment we had when we first came here. We've definitely grown closer while we've been here and now we have this strong connection we'll be unstoppable. We were having so much fun in the park so I decided why not have a bit more fun. I said 'Hey, while we're at L.A, I've never been to the beach.' Luke said 'Yo, let's go to the beach.' I was so excited. So we grabbed everything and headed to the beach. It was so sunny, so it was a perfect way to finish our trip.

We were having a blast on the beach so I said 'Hey guys why don't we dance. It's what we do best.' Everyone said 'Sure, why not.' So we played music and danced.

We were dancing and just having loads of fun, I had accidentally left my hat on the floor and sort of never noticed. We only noticed there is that people were dropping money into the hat. We were shocked and really honoured. I guess people enjoy the entertainment. I know I would watch people dance. Everyone was pulling out their best tricks. The crowd seemed to be loving it. We finished and everyone went crazy. We had to head back to the stadium so we thanked and bowed, grabbed everything and ran back to the stadium.

We got back just in time. Mrs said 'You guys did great at the beach. It was shown again on the screen.' We all laughed. So we all got our team uniforms on and headed to the stage. So the lineup for awards was:
1. Mr international soloist
2. Mrs international soloist
3. 5 person dance
4. Genre competition
i: Ballet
ii: Hip hop
iii: Lyrical
iv: Jazz
v: Contemporary

I'm really nervous. I would love to win Mrs international soloist. It would be such an accomplishment for me, and hopefully I win the chance to move to L.A, it would be a dream to live here and hopefully my parents will forgive me.

Mr international soloist was first and I was waiting with Nathan. I grabbed his hand. He looked at me and I smiled at him he said 'What if I don't win, what if I don't get to move to L.A. I'll let you down.' I said 'You could never let me down. You will win, no matter what.' He smiled at me and we waited to hear who won. 'And the winner of Mr international soloist is........Nathan from Oatfield Talent School.'I can't believe it. Nathan won Mr international soloist. I'm so proud of him. His solo was amazing. He totally deserved it. He ran off stage and hugged me. He said 'I did it. I did it, I won Mr international soloist. I get the chance to move to L.A. And it's all thanks to you.'

It's now Mrs international soloist and Maya and Nathan were waiting with me. I saw Sasha and Abigail on the other side. I had to beat her. I wasn't going to let her take this from me. Abigail looked at me and again smiled. Why does she keep smiling at me? She betrayed me and the team. Anyway there were more important things happening. I was so nervous. I needed to win. 'And the winner of Mrs international soloist is........Bella from Oatfield Talent School.' OMG! I actually can't believe it! I ACTUALLY WON INTERNATIONALS!!! I'm shocked. I ran off stage into Nathan's arms. We both get the chance to move to L.A together.

Now it's time for the 5 person dance. Our dance was really entertaining so hopefully we win.  And the winner is........Oatfield Talent School.' That's another win for us. We're doing pretty well.
