So, abut half an hour ago or 40 minutes, I got back home from my first day of band camp. It was fantastic, we learned more than half of our first drill, which is spectacular because last year when I was a freshman, we learned like two sets of our drill. I like these batch of freshman, they aren't little pieces of crap like me and my class of sophomores. They actually pay attention. And also, since the saxophones are just me, Bryce, Autumn, Kaydan, Marissa, and our newbie Katie, we are actually not as bad or quiet as we were last year. I was very energetic for whatever reason. And we ended up playing a tournament of rock paper scissors and half way through it, my voice died. So, I couldn't be loud like I wanted. I got a hug from behind from my bro Alexx which I had forgotten what a hug had felt like, so that hug felt great. It's been forever since I've experienced a hug. But, OH WAIT! Also, our old drum major, Tracer, had came back to us and he went to every section and saved my group of alto saxophones for last. And when he came, Marissa, Bryce and I ran to him and suffocated with hugs. It was amazing to see him. So, overall, this seasons marching band is going a whole ton better than last years. So excited! WOOOOOOOOOOO!
