"Arden, help me, help me, I know you can hear me," I heard Bay calling from the distance. It was pitch black and I was standing in water. I looked around and heard him echoing everything over, "help me, help, Arden."

"Bay?!? BAY," I yelled, "I'm coming, I'm going to help."

"You let me go, you left me alone, how could you do that to me?" He yelled, I could hear him crying, he sounded like he was in pain.

"Bay, I would never do that, just tell me where you are, please," I said, "I'll find you, I promise, tell me, Bay."

Then it went silent. It was still pitch black and I tried to walk around but I was stuck to the floor. I started crying and then I fell to the ground.

"Arden, wake up," I heard Kai saying, I opened my eyes a little and felt my body shaking, "get up, we have to go now, let's go."

I looked at Kai, and he helped me up as me handed me my bookbag. I looked at him and he took my hand as he started running fast.

"What happened?" I asked.

"We're you getting chased by wolves before you got to my pack?" He asked.

"Yes, how did you know?" I said.

"You have the same scent as the wolves I sensed coming after us," he told me, "they seemed angry, they were coming for you, we need to find Bay and fast."

I lost behind me and saw six wolves coming our way. I panicked and let go of Kai's hand but kept running.b

"They're catching up," I said, "can't you just super speed and turn into a vampire?"

"It's too risky," he said, "we can only run, right now."

"What? They're catch us," I said, "just do it Kai."

"I can't, I just ca-," he started, he fell to the ground and a wolf was on top of him panting, drolling on his face.

The other five wolves surrounded me and started growling.

"Please, leave him alone, just take me," I said, "please."

I recognized the pack leader, he went back to his human form and looked at me.

"You don't deserve anything Arden, not after what you did," he said laughing, "your coming back to the pack with us and he is going to die, just like Bay is when we find him."

"No, please, just take me," I said, I looked at Kai, he was scared, I could tell, he didn't want to turn into a vampire, it was too risky for him.

The alpha's name was Connor, he was strong, smart, and a great wolf. He looked at Kai walking towards him. I was going to follow him, but another wolf grabbed me holding me back. "No, no, no, please stop," I yelled, "Kai, just do it, please, you can't die."

"Use your power, you can do it, just focus," he told me, "calm down, it'll be okay."

I looked at him and I couldn't stop crying, I kept trying to fight the wolf holding me, Connor grabbed Kai by the neck and threw him to the tree.
