Arden's POV

I woke up before Kai, I sat up and drunk some of my water. I couldn't really remember what happened yesterday. I walked out of the cave and went to the stream nearby. Using my water power I cleaned the water and then place it in my bottle, walking back into the cave to Kai. I sat there for a while just thinking and then Kai woke up and yawned. He looked at me, I smiled eating some of the meat his parents gave me.

"Morning," I said.

"Hey," he said, "you feel okay after yesterday?"

"Yea, I just want to find Bay and get him back to your pack to be safe," I said, "I don't know where he would have gone, there is nowhere else I could think of."

"We'll find him," Kai told me, "and we won't give up until we do, I promised that to you and I won't break it.————————————
Bay's POV

It's been a month since I've seen Arden, all I'm thinking about is if she is safe. The pack hasn't found me yet, but did they catch her? Did they find out about her powers? Did they kill her? I was far away from the pack for sure, I couldn't track her scent because we both his ours so the pack can't find us. I was walking back to go find her and I stopped near a river. I dived into the water and made sure that I cleaned the dirt off of my body and out of my hair. When I was done I got out and walked more down the river. I was in shock from what I saw in front of me.

"Alpha Connor?" I whispered, he was dead. I saw other wolves burnt to death, stabbed my sticks or chocked by branches. Fire, earth, and air. Arden did this, they found her. But why did she not run and not kill them? She would never kill someone unless they tried to hurt someone she loved. Were they coming for me? Did they try to kill her mom, or dad, or her family?

I hurt someone moaning near the tree, I followed the noise and saw a wolf with a stick in her stomach. She looked at me and lifted her hand up, crying.

"What happened?" I asked her, "who did this?

"Ar-Arden," she replied.

"She was here?" I said surprised, "which way did she go? Tell me now."

She pointed to the right and it was hard for me to believe her, what if she was leading me back to the pack, Arden wouldn't go back. But I looked back at the girl as she touched the stick and had trouble getting it out.

"Help me," she said, "please, don't let me die, I'll do anything, please help me."

"What's in it for me?" I asked.

"I'll...help you trace her tracks," she said, "please."

I looked into her eyes and I could tell she was lying, I felt back though, so I stood up and she looked at me.

"I can't trust nobody," I said, leaning now I cracked her neck and watched her land on the floor, then I walked away in the direction that she told me, but worried.

I thought that I stepped on a branch, but I looked down and it was a braclet, picking it up I realized that it was Arden's braclet that her mom gave her when she was six. I looked around and I could fell her scent. I started to walk faster while following the scent. Then it led me to a small cave. I looked at it and walked in.

Arden's POV

Me and Kai were just talking and getting some energy before we continued our search for Bay when we heard a noise coming from the outside of the cave. We both got up grabbing our bags and walked to the front of the cave slowly.

"Smells like another wolf," Kai whispered.

"You think there was a survivor back there?" I whispered back, walking slower, he nodded.

"Hello?" I heard the person say, I recognized the voice and started to walk a bit faster, "anyone here?"

"Bay?" I whispered to myself, I saw the persons shadow and then I saw him.

"Arden?" He said.

I looked at him and then ran up to him, he hugged me while picking me up and I began to cry.

"Arden, your okay," he said, "thank god, I'm so glad that I found you."

He put me down and I looked into his eyes. "I wouldn't have stopped looking until I found you Bay," I said, "I missed you."

"I missed you too," he said, we hugged again, "who's this?" He was looking at Kai and he just smiled.

"This is Kai," I said, "I fell down the rocks and landed in his packs territory, they helped me, and he promised to help me find you."

Bay walked up to him and shaked his hand, "thank you," he said, "thanks Kai."

"Your welcome," he said.

They looked at eachother awkwardly and we all sat down in the cave catching up and telling eachother what happened while seperated. Kai and Bay got to know eachother while I went to get more water and then we decided to head back to Kai's pack and figure out where to go from there. But leave at nightfall.
