(continuation from chapter 8)
DAVIDS POV
We both look at each other and start to blush.
David: "Ah Mam were not a couple." I said to her.
Grandma: "Oh I'm so sorry, but you two would make a good couple." She smiled at us again.
There was silence for a while.
Liza: "Ahum, David I think we should leave now."
David: "Yeah you're right."
I stood up and helped out Liza to stand up. Once she got up, we both walked out of target together. We got in my car and it was quiet.
LIZAS POV
Okay, it's quiet, this is awkward, this is very awkward, I don't know what to do in this awkward situation. Should I talk? Should I just stay quiet and use my phone? Oh god it's getting even more awkward. I think I should say something, yeah I probably should.
Liza and David: "Okay so-, You go first." We both laughed a little and smiled at each other.
We kept on staring at each other for a while, it felt like forever. David blinked his eyes then coughed.
David: "Um, sorry about that."
Liza: "Yeah same here."
We were about five minutes away from my house. I looked at my phone and started to browse through my comment on Instagram.
David: "Okay we're here."
I unbuckled my seatbelt, we both got out of the car and gave each other a smile.
David: "So I'll see you another day then?"
Liza: "Uh, Yeah! Sure!"
We gave each other a hug for a long amount of time. We finally let go of each other and smiled.
David: "Okay well, I better get going, bye Liza."
Liza: "Mkay, bye David."
He got back in his car and I walked back to my apartment.
