When you arrive at the park Steve is already there. "There you are!" He smiles your way. "Yeah sorry. I don't think I slept well last night. I'm a bit out of it." You apologize. As usual Steve just smiles and offers you water bottle, before nodding for you to begin. You begin on your usual route but you feel sluggish even for you. Steve meanwhile is full of his normal energy. It seems like a lot for you this morning so you look over to him. "Why don't you run ahead, get a lap done." Steve furrows his brows at you. "Are you okay?" You nod. "Yeah, you just seem to have way more energy than me today. Go ahead and burn some of it off." He nods. "Okay, see you in a few." He says before taking of at a healthy pace. You know you'll see him in less than 5 minutes. You continue running slowly. The aches only seem to get worse as the world spins and shifts, sending you stumbling to your knees. Thankfully you catch yourself with your hands. But you tear them on the paved path. Wincing you try to get back to your feet and keep going. You make it several feet, before the world tilts again and goes black.
