You woke up in a dark room. The air was cold and the floor was damp. It smelt familiar, but you couldn't quite place it. Your head was throbbing and you didn't remember how you even ended up in the situation you were in. How did you end up there and why do you have a headache? You didn't even remember your name. What happened? Questions were flying through your head as you tried to remember anything. Where did you live? Blank. Who are you? Blank. Your entire mind seemed like an empty canvas. Everything was blank. No memories, nothing. Just the knowledge that you just woke up in a dark room with a throbbing headache. You tried to move, but you quickly realised that your ankles were bound together and your wrists were cuffed to the wall. You slowly started to wake up more and more. You noticed the feeling of a thick, warm liquid running down your stomach. Once again you tried to place the fluid, but you just couldn't. Panic was starting to set in now. What the hell was going on? Your abdomen hurt like hell and had no idea what is was. Your breaths became shorter and quicker. Small clouds of fog exited your mouth into the cool air. Your chest tightened and you could barely breathe. A warm fluid started dripping from your eyes, onto your cheeks, down your nose and to the ground. You had a feeling of knowing what the fluid was, but you just couldn't reach it. Blank. Just blank and empty. You were scared. You felt lost. Alone.
All of the sudden a flash of light fell into the room. A door opened. Three men barged into the room. They were wearing black suits. They were all wearing a mask. Who were they? Were they here to help you? Now that there finally was some light in the room you could finally see somehing. You looked down at your stomach and saw a huge gap with a thick, red fluid running out. That same fluid was all over the floor and the rest of the room. 5 other people were hanging from the same wall as you were, unconscious. They all had the same red liquid seeping out of them. You suddenly started to remember. The liquid was blood. They weren't just unconscious, most of them were probably dead because of blood loss. You looked back up to the men. One of them made their way over to you and took of his mask. He had blonde hair and bue eyes. Your mind was racing and you suddenly remembered who this was. It was Chris! But what was he doing here? It was like your brain finally started fully functioning again and you remembered everything. Your name was Y/n Y/l/n and your boyfriend was Sebastian Stan. Chris Evans was one of your best friends. You remembered what happened. You were making breakfast when you heard an eerie sound. You checked it out and got knocked out. You were pulled from your thoughts by the loss of oxygen and started choking. You looked at Chris and croaked out his name. He looked at you with a confused expression. "My name isn't Chris, I'm Steve, remember?" The man you thought was Chris said before moving closer to you and undoing your restraints. He pulled you into his arms and tried to calm you down a bit. You thought for a minute. This couldn't be the actual Steve Rogers right? But what if it is? What if this is the actual Steve Rogers, aka Captain America? But how? That's just a fictional character right? More and more questions started running through your head. The blonde haired man noticed the sheer panic in your eyes. "Hey Y/n, calm down. Breathe. You can do this. It's all gonna be fine. It's all gonna be okay. You're gonna be okay." You could barely understand what he said and you started gasping for air. It wasn't long before you passed out.
You woke up a with a really sore throat and a really bad headache, even worse than before. Your stomach wasn't hurting as bad, which was good. You opened your eyes, squinting because of the bright light in the room. Your eyes slowly adjusted to the light and you looked around. You were in a hospital room. You tried to sit up but quickly regretted this. A sharp pain shot through your abdomen and you went into an intense coughing fit. This woke up a man that was sleeping on a chair in the corner of the room. You hadn't noticed the man until then. He looked like Sebastian, but he had a metal arm and long hair. Wait, if Chris was Steve, this had to be Bucky. You still didn't quite know what was going on, but you decided to just go along with it for a while. The only answer here would be that you had somehow ended up in an alternate universe. That was something you couldn't quite believe yet, but as a wise man once said: 'When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.' The man you assumed to be Bucky was now standing at the edge of your bed, helping you sit up and holding a cup of water to your lips for you to take a sip. You do so and your coughing stops. You looked over to Bucky and saw he looked sort of relieved to see you alive and well. You smiled at him and croaked out a small 'thank you'. Bucky smiled back and nodded. You just assumed Bucky was close to you in this universe as well. Why else would he be sleeping in a chair, waiting for you to wake up? "Do you remember what happened?" Bucky asked. You decided that it would be the best to just tell him the truth. It seemed like the fair thing to do in this situation. The you from this universe must be even more confused than you. "Listen Bucky, I should probably tell you something here. I don't how close we are here, but I'm not the Y/n you know. I think I'm from an alternate universe. Actually, I'm quite sure about that. I genuinely have no idea how I ended up here." Bucky just looked at you. He looked extremely confused. "So.. You're telling me that you're not Y/n, my assassin girlfriend, but you're her from another universe?" You nodded and smiled apologetically. "Okay, I think it's best if we call Tony in here and you explain everything you know." Bucky said. You once again nodded and he called in Tony.
It wasn't long before he came walking into the room. "You needed my help, one armed wonder?" He said. You tried your best not to laugh at the nickname. Bucky nodded and explained the situation to Tony. He turned to you. "Alright, start from the beginning, princess." You started explaining the situation. You told them how this univers was the Marvel Cinematic Universe in your universe and how Sebastian Stan, your boyfriend who plays Bucky, and you were just making breakfast when you heard an eerie noise coming from the hallway. You told them that you checked it out and got knocked out and how after that you just woke up in that room, not remembering anything at first. When you finally finished telling them everything, your throat was really sore and your mouth was dried out. You started coughing again and Bucky held the cup up again and helped you take a sip. Tony turned around, thinking about what to do next. He turned back to you and took in your state. You were weak and could use any rest you could get. You needed to recover a bit first. He finally started speaking: "Alright, I think it's best if you recover a bit first. You need to rest. We're gonna need to find a way to get you back to your universe and to get our Y/n back here. I'll tell you about who you are in this universe later. You need to rest first. Get some sleep sweetheart." You nodded. You were feeling quite weak and tired.
This was going to be a fun adventure.
To be continued....
