It's nothing special but your comments make me want to constantly update, y'all leave some cute thing<3 This is dedicated to all of you because you're all so nice and I probably would've stopped writing this a long time ago otherwise.
--------------------------------------------------
The morning sky was clad in thick, grey sheets. The warm sunlight that stretched its way through the town only yesterday had soon departed and instead I was faced with the complete antithesis as I peered out of my bedroom window. Drenching the earth below it, the droplets of rain gradually built heavier and heavier as the minutes passed. It’d keep up all day, I just knew it. This was the reason my figure had been cascaded for the past hour or so in an item of clothing that resembled an awful lot like Stitch.
I adjusted the hood, which just so happened to resemble Stitch’s face, as I peered out of the glass for a moment longer. What exactly could the two of us do in San Diego today when every second was going to be surrounded by heavy rain? I thought that maybe only time could tell, but when the rain was still keeping up - and possibly getting even heavier - an hour later, I decided I should do something about it.
Me: Ugh, rain.
This text to Vic was accompanied by an image of me faking a frown.
Vic: I know. It’s heavy.
-A minute later-
Vic: Wait, am I really going to ignore the fact that you’re wearing a Stitch onesie?
Me: I have an allergic reaction to rain...
Vic: Is this your way of cancelling on me, Stitch?
Me: No, I was gonna’ say you should come to mine because if I venture outside, I’d have to curl up and die.
Before he could reply, I sent a picture of one of the cardboard boxes I had already filled up.
Me: They make comfy foot rests, I swear to you.
Vic: Maybe I will... but only if you keep your Stitch onesie on.
Me: Deal.
Me: Bring a movie.
Me: A Disney one.
Me: Lilo & Stitch.
Me: I’m kidding just bring a movie.
Me: Or don’t, it’s your choice really.
Vic: Anything else, fair maiden?
Me: Bring yourself, or else there’s really no point.
Vic: Deal.
I didn’t quite know when Vic would be turning up. I decided it would be wise to pass the time somehow so I did just this by putting the radio on loud and continuing some of my artwork for my portfolio. My phone buzzed again half an hour or so later, and it was Vic telling me that he was on his way, so I replied telling him that he should just come straight in. This was why I screamed so loud when I felt arms wrap themselves around me, causing me to kick my legs out and hit my thigh straight into the kitchen cupboard. Vic burst out laughing.
“That’s not funny, my leg got injured because of you.” I frowned as I turned around to look at Vic. His jacket was absolutely drenched, so I checked my onesie to see that was pretty damp too.
“Don’t cry about it.” He said, trying not to smirk. “Ooh what were you doing?” He asked as he went to look at what I was working on. “These are amazing.”
“Thanks. I need to show who I’m going to work for what I’m good at.”
“I didn’t know you were this good. Jesus, Tay-”
“It’s not that good. I’ve seen better.” I laughed slightly and kindly took Vic’s jacket off him to hang it up.
“You really need to appreciate your talents a lot more.”
“Deep and meaningful words from Vic Fuentes. Hey you can use that in your next song.” I said, my tone laced with sarcasm.
“Sarcastic Suzy.” I childishly stuck my tongue out at him. As I walked past the radio, I realised what song was on and turned it up louder slightly. “I never meant to start a war, I just wanted you to let me in. I guess I should’ve let you win... don’t you ever say I just walked away, I will always want you...” I tried to sing as emotionally as I could without smirking. This caused Vic to mutter ‘oh no’ and shake his head as he continued to look at my drawings. I began to run as fast as I could up to him and jump on his back as I sang, “I came in like a wrecking ball! I never hit so hard at love-” It was unexpected, so he stumbled slightly and I fell of his back onto the floor and burst into laughter. “All you ever did was wreck me.”
“Most dramatic ending to a song-” Vic managed as he was laughing too. I reached my hand out for Vic to help me up, but instead of standing up, I pulled him down and pinned his shoulders to the floor.
“Pinned ya’.” I said, grinning at him before standing up.
“You’re not Nala.”
“No, I’m Rafiki.” I stated before dancing round the lounge. “Asante sana Squash banana, wewe nugu mimi apana.”
“Enough already. What’s that supposed to mean anyway?” Vic quoted as he stood up.
“It means you’re a baboon... and I’m not.”
“I think you’re a little confused.”
“Wrong!” I quoted and turned around to look at him. “I’m not the one who’s confused. You don’t even know who you are!”
“Oh, and I suppose you know?”
“Sure do. You’re Mufasa’s boy. Bye!” I began to run away but Vic was too quick, so he stopped me by snaking his arm around my waist. I turned around to look up at him. He kept his arms around my waist. “It’s my favorite movie.”
“I guessed.” He stated and smiled at me. “Wanna’ watch it?” He asked. I nodded in reply and we made our way over to the sofa.
The Lion King was constantly in my DVD player, so when I’d finished switching it on and changing sources on the TV, I pressed play straight away and jumped down on the sofa next to Vic. I cuddled into his side and rested my head on his shoulder as he wrapped his arms around me in a secure embrace. “You’re comfy.” I muttered as the movie started.
I hadn’t realised when The Lion King came to an end as I was half asleep cuddled up next to Vic. Until I felt Vic tickle my sides and scare me again for the second time in one day, causing me to squeal and fidget. “Stoooooop.” I groaned and he only laughed at me.
“But it’s play time for the lions-” He started to laugh even harder at what he said. “Well that sounded dirtier than expected.”
“Oooh, Vic, you dirty bitch.” I snickered.
“I apologise, m’dear.” He said in an over-exaggerated posh voice. “I shall make it up to you by putting on Lilo & Stitch.” And he did just that. I was quite shocked, to be honest. I hadn’t actually thought that he would bring it, but he did. He put the movie in the DVD player and came to sit next to me again.
He pulled his phone out and opened up the camera, taking a picture of us. I later realised he’d posted it to Instagram and Twitter with the caption ‘Disney movies with lil’ Stitch’. I opened up my own instagram and posted the same image with the caption 'regram from @piercethevic - Disney day for the lions<3 (✿◠‿◠)'. I could be cute sometimes.
I looked up at him and said, “You’re gonna’ get a load of annoying fangirls demanding to know who I am.”
“That doesn’t matter to me.” He smirked.
"But what if I get hate?"
"I won't let that happen." He said and pressed his lips to mine, kissing me softly. I really liked this guy. Like, really really.
